Are the gifts of the Holy Spirit for today? Have any ceased to exist? This is a teaching from our "Deeper" class.

How do we live a life that isn't compromised in a culture that is completely ungodly? Why is it so important that we live holy lives of faith? Can't we compromise on some things and have the best of both worlds? Well, as we will see today- compromise always comes with a cost. In this study we will be talking about some controversial topics in relation to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Do you struggle with a vibrant prayer life? Have you lost hope in the power of prayer. Maybe you just need to be reminded once again of the great privilege we have to come boldly before God's throne in our time of need. Join us in our study as we look at four aspects of our faith when it comes to prayer.

There are 8 Covenants in the Bible that are all so important to understanding God plan as a whole. In this session we will look at them all and zone in on the Old covenant and compare to the New Covenant.

In this session we will look at the importance of servant-hood and also have time for questions and answers.

What is the importance of Doctrine? And what are some of the false doctrines that are popular in our day?

Here in Genesis 17 God calls Abram to walk before Him blameless. Does He call us to the same standard, and if so, how do we even attempt to walk blameless before God? Well in this chapter we will discover 5 practical points of application to help us walk worthy of the calling we have received. We will also see that this is only possible through the only one who actually ever did walk blameless before God- JESUS!

No one likes to wait a long time for the things they really want, but sometimes that is the best place to be. The temptation however will be to take a short-cut in order to get the thing we really want. The problem is that when we short-cut our faith it always turns into a detour that brings us back to the waiting place that we already were, only now with numerous issues and consequences along with the waiting.

Does it really matter how we live? Does the Bible really teach us to be Holy?And if so-Why is it important to live Holy lives?

With all of the different beliefs out there in the world...How do we know if our interpretation of the Bible is the right one? In this session we will look at the practice of Exegesis and Biblical hermanutics.

Do you ever have fears or doubts? You love God and believe in God, but you have fears and doubts? IS it okay to have doubts? Here in Genesis 15, ten years have passed since God promised Abraham a son – Abraham is now 85 years old – and he still has no son. What's intriguing to me is that even thou Abraham had fears and doubts God still says that he had unwavering faith (Romans 4:20). How could that be? Well we will see today that the way to have unwavering faith is to believe in the One who is unwavering.

After every mountaintop experience we will be faced with a valley and in that valley we will be given the choice between kings and kingdoms. The King of the Mountain also needs to be the King of the valley. Today we will see Abram, as he has just had an amazing mountaintop experience, enter the "kings valley" where he is met by two kings. And who our king is in the valley is even more important to our spiritual life that who our King is on the Mountaintop. Sometimes it’s easier to fight Kederlaomer on the mountain than it is to resist Sodom in the valley.

Are you struggling to find victory over bondage and besetting sins in your life? Do you believe that you can find victory? What are some of the most powerful things in the world that you can think of? Today we will make the case that God is more powerful than anything that comes our way. As we look at this battle in Genesis 14 we will see a picture of a victorious believer who by faith obtains the victory.

We are faced with choices every day. Some of our choices are more challenging than others. How do we know that the choices we make are good, godly choices? Today we will see the choices of two men- Abram and Lot. Abram will show us an example of choices made by faith and Lot will show us an example of choices made by the flesh.

How do we grow in our faith? One of the ways is thru trials and hardships. In our study today Abram is right in the center of the Lords will and there is a famine in the land. Abram now is forced to either trust in God or trust in himself for the way out. Abram will choose to trust in himself, but God will still save him despite himself. Ultimately, Abram's faith will grow through his own failure.

Take heart- God used the disciples, God used the prophets and God used the Patriarchs- especially Abraham. Today we start a new study in the book of Genesis called- "The Life of Faith" In this study we will learn lessons on faith from the life of Abraham, and we will see that Abraham was just like us
