Alabama beats Tennessee, but did they lose overall?
26/10/2020 Duration: 54minAlabama went to Knoxville and put a beat down on the Tennessee Volunteers. The defense was...better...but the story coming out of this one was the season ending injury to Alabama's Jaylen Waddle. That loss will reverberate through the season, and we discuss what the Tide can do to smooth over that loss as they continue their pursuit of the 2021 National Championship. There are also some Air Raid Bulldogs coming in from Starkville for a game. Since their win over LSU in week one, Bully has looked decided...bad...but can they present some scenarios to stress the Crimson Tide? Look for that discussion and more from Drew DeArmond, William 'Redfish' Barger & Thomas Watts on their hour of Crimson Tide Conversation

Basking in Dawg Defeat, BAMS talks UT, UGA
19/10/2020 Duration: 01h11minThat was fun! A 41-24 win where Alabama dismantled a solid Georgia squad in the second half is the perfect panacea for some of the early frustrations from the Alabama fan base, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Is Mac Jones the Heisman candidate on this team? Or Jaylen Waddle? Or Devonta Smith? Or Najee Harris? Is Steve Sarkisian the best assistant on the country with his schemes? We talk about what we saw on the field in Tuscaloosa this past Saturday, and bask in the glory of a big win. There is still plenty of work to be done for Alabama as they prepare for a trip to Neyland Stadium. All three of us have cigars picked out and ready for what should be another big Bama win, but one prediction is closer than the experts think. Fightin' Kirbies Comin' to Town. BAMS gets ya ready!
14/10/2020 Duration: 01h04minWhat a tough night game against the Rebels last Saturday. The defense was ... rough. After a record setting poor performance, a lot of fans are concerned, but BAMS talks about what happened, and why it doesn't necessarily translate with against Georgia. Styles make fights, and the styles of these two teams make for a fairly decisive win. We whip around both games, and get fans ready for a tough game against the Dawgs in BDS. BAMS dodges storms to discuss Aggies and Rebels Roadtrip
08/10/2020 Duration: 01h05minAfter thoroughly dismantling the Texas A&M Aggies, the Alabama Crimson Tide are riding high. There is plenty to work on, and tweak, and continue to evolve towards, but this is a national championship caliber team. The Tide will be traveling to Oxford for a game against the Fightin' Lane Kiffens, and it will be in a monsoon. Hurricane Delta will be moving through, and that will affect how the game plays out. Expect a heavy dose of Alabama running the ball to shorten the game, get a win, and get out of Oxford healthy ahead of a huge match up against the Georgia Bulldogs in two Saturdays. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

Bama trounces (Mizzou) Tigers to open 2020
28/09/2020 Duration: 53minAh, football is back and normalcy has returned. Alabama played a spectacular game for 2.5 quarters, but depth is a major concern in this Covid-changed season, so we'll give the Tide a pass on this BAMSradio. The first team looked elite on both sides of the ball, and even some of the backups made eye-opening contributions in the second half. While Alabama was cruising, Texas A&M struggled with consistency against Vanderbilt, and the rest of the SEC is struggling to find their footing. We react to an opening week win for the Tide, and peek ahead to the Crimson Tide home opener. First Game Week 2020! BAMS gets ya ready!
21/09/2020 Duration: 47minIt's been a long time coming. Alabama finally takes the field against the Missouri Tigers this upcoming Saturday. The game is a wild card with Missouri breaking in a new head coach, and some expected offensive scheme changes given what Eliah Drinkwitz did at App State. This game, to us, will tell us a ton about this Alabama team. After a great offseason with few injuries, a lot of people are high on this Alabama Tide team. We talk all about that this week on BAMS. BAMS reads the scrimmage tea leaves
14/09/2020 Duration: 52minFootball inches ever closer, as the JV leagues are playing and entertaining SEC fans ahead of their debut in a couple of weeks. Clemson looks good annihilating Wake Forest, and Lincoln Riley's Sooners continue to blow away overmatched opponents. Down in Tuscaloosa, though, the season preparation continues apace, and there was a key scrimmage this past weekend. Jobs were won and lost, but this iteration of the Crimson Tide continues to take shape. We have all of that and more on BAMSRadio as William "Redfish" Barger, Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts continue to bring you hours of Crimson Tide conversation

BAMS is BACK with talk about things Alabama football
07/09/2020 Duration: 01h08minWhat a wild offseason. Coronavirus, speculation about no football period, Thomas writing his dissertation. All in all, the notion of a return to football normalcy has extensive appeal for the crew at BAMSRadio. We're back and talking about what we have read and seen coming out of fall camp. There is plenty to be excited about for the Crimson Tide in this most unusual of seasons, and we discuss it all. Join Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts as we reboot BAMS talking about the Unviersity of Alabama football team's fall camp.

BAMS talks offseason, and where have we been?!
27/01/2020 Duration: 55minWell. That escalated quickly. The season ended. Juniors moved on. New players are coming in for spring football, and the coaching staff looks a bit different. In other words, it is business as usual in Tuscaloosa. What is happily unusual is that Nate Oates and the Alabama basketball team are playing an inspired, fun-to-watch brand of basketball. It should help the long, slow march towards A-Day. We discuss all of that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

31/12/2019 Duration: 56minThe holidays are almosy over. With Alabama taking on Michigan on Jan 1, the season will end, but news will still be coming out fairly often. Dylan Moses is back. Several other high profile juniors are rumored to be returning. The coaching staff has some potential changeover. We cover all of that and more on this New Years episode of BAMSRadio. Sit back and enjoy another hour of Crimson Tide conversation with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts

BAMS talks Early Signing Period Eve
18/12/2019 Duration: 01h03minTime for another crop of players to sign on to the Crimson Tide train. With the early signing period set to go tomorrow, we talk about what we like, and who we see making an impact from the 2020 recruiting class. Also, with only two players sitting out against Michigan, does Alabama look to whallop the Fightin' Khaki Pants? We have all that and more on this episode of BAMSradio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

BAMS talks juniors, Citrus Bowl, and roasts the CFP
11/12/2019 Duration: 01h04minAnother year, another deeply flawed ranking system. The only three three certainties in life are death, taxes, and CFP incompetence. Thomas gets rolling on that again, but before we let the producer out of his cage, we talk a lot of potential juniors returning as has been swirling throughout Bama nation in the past few days. With Alabama off to the Citrus bowl, we do some high-level examination. At least one member of our trio expects Alabama to lose, but there are many variables in the air with this one which make it difficult to predict. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

BAMS reviews Iron Bowl and waves goodbye to a failed defensive coordinator
06/12/2019 Duration: 01h03minThat was not fun. Alabama fell to rival Auburn in the annual Iron Bowl, and now its on Nick Saban to fix a program that has several glaring flaws. The defensive staff has been a mess, and the product they put on the field every Saturday has suffered as a result of it. Defensive Coordinator Pete Golding is about to be Insurance Salesman Pete Golding, and look for him to be joined by several other defensive staffers whose position groups have fallen flat on their faces throughout the 2019 season. With a junk bowl happening for this team, there is rampant speculation that a large number of players choose to sit out...but does this Tua media tour mean that the superstar QB may actually come back for his senior season and take on Trevor Lawrence in a heads-up, no-holds-barred battle for No. 1 QB taken in 2021? We talk that and more with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts. Join us for another week of Crimson Tide conversation.

BAMS enjoys turkey, dressing, and a bit of Iron Bowl prep
28/11/2019 Duration: 52minHappy thanksgiving all. It's been a busy football season for all of us over at BAMS, so we take a bit of a breather to wish all of our listeners a happy turkey day. Time keeps marching on, though, and its time for another Iron Bowl against the Auburn Tigers. The questions abound due to injuries along both the defensive line, as well as Tua Tagovailoa. As a result, the line is compressed to a measly 2 points in many sportsbooks. William and Drew are thinking the game is that close, while Thomas took a much larger score because Alabama needs a big win to buttress their college football playoff resume. Join William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts as they break down what they see coming for this Crimson Tide team on Saturday.

BAMS asks what has Tua meant to Crimson Tide throughout his tenure
21/11/2019 Duration: 01h02minIn the most glib way possible, this past Saturday sucked. What should have been a great team win where every phase played at a high level in dismantling a decent Mississippi State team turned into a thing straight out of Alabama fan nightmares when Tua Tagovailoa went down with a season ending injury. The injury has caused moments of reflection, and assessments of Tua's legacy, even if that is a bit premature with the Iron Bowl coming down the pipe next week. We only have two of our normal three on the panel tonight since Redfish had to work, but Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts hold down the fort, talk a bit of basketball, and a lot of Tua so join in for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation

BAMS reviews tough LSU loss, peeks ahead to Starkville
14/11/2019 Duration: 01h12minWhat a shock. A tough 46-41 loss to the LSU Tigers has put Alabama squarely behind the College Football Playoff 8-ball. They do not control their own destiny, and will need some help to make it back to compete for a title, but they have no one to thank but themselves. We review the loss, and look ahead to Starkville. If Alabama wants to head back into the top 4, it starts on Saturday. The Tide cannot simply win. They must come out with an edge, and crush the Bulldogs by a score which would make sporting people blush in shame. Join Drew DeArmond, William 'Redfish' Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

BAMS gears up for Game of the Century Part 3
07/11/2019 Duration: 01h13minCoach Cookie Monster brings his LSU Tigers to Tuscaloosa for a visit, and a beat down from Bama this weekend. Donald Trump will be there, and Twitter will scream about hillbilly Alabama and other nonsense. On the "stupid crap perpetuated by stupid people" front, the college football playoff rankings came out, and they are a grab bag from a sack of bull manure that nobody with a lick of sense can understand. Yes, your erstwhile producer Thomas Watts is angry about it. There is one good thing that came out of that Tuesday night fracas, and it is that Alabama is ranked #3 and that empowers the Disrespect Card. The dreaded Disrespect Card, not seen since Athens in 2015, has already bombed two programs back to the stone age in Florida and Georgia, and left them coachless. We do not think The Card will do the same to LSU, but it has filled us with confidence going into this matchup. We break down LSU from every angle we can think of, and a couple that came up on the spot, so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Ba

Bye week BAMS is already hyped for Bayou Bengals visit
31/10/2019 Duration: 01h03minArkansas came in and got completely wrecked by the Crimson Tide for a homecoming win. The only thing that was unfortunate with the past weekend was mediocre weather. It was good to see Mac Jones have a solid game, and that puts many fans at ease seeing how well he played. In that vein, how good has Steve Sarkisian been over the first weeks of the year? We discuss that, and Thomas explains that the defense may not be as bad as many fans seem to think so far. This team is in an excellent spot going in to the bye, and the biggest game of the year thus far, and it is 150% fair to be very excited for that matchup. Join Drew DeArmind, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.

BAMS has a prayer circle for Tua's ankle, preps pork pit
24/10/2019 Duration: 57minWell. That....happened? Alabama won, but the victory felt somewhat hollow given the injury situation that the Crimson Tide find themselves in. Make no mistake about it, the Tua injury was the one that Bama could least afford. Luckily, he has a couple of extra weeks to rehab, but how Tua-like our favorite Bama QB is against LSU in a couple of weeks remains to be seen. We also react to the Arik Gilbert saga that played out in front of our eyes, and whip quickly around the SEC talking about other games since...Arkansas is bad and Alabama will beat the stuffing out of them. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.
