Nintendo announces some highly anticipated titles. EA has games chewing up each others audience while Blizzard Activision slowly runs their business into a confusing mess for us all to watch.

The storefront wars are here. Valve vs Epic. Devs are being pulled from storefront to storefront. The only one that loses, however, is you, the customer. There is also some lackluster reveals from other game launches this month as well. You could say it's this months Anthem.

2018 is behind us and we have a lot of games to look forward too in 2019, just most of them are not coming out in January. There is a bit of buzz around a new console manufacturer as well so we will be talking about that.

It's the end of 2018, so let's look back to the best the worst and the most anticipated of the year.

The scene of 2019 is actually looking like a good place for games. It looks like a lot of studios are learning the lessons of 2018 which is. Single player games are still a very big source of entertainment and you can still make a profit on them. The UK is finally getting something in place for game devs by unionizing the industry.

This week we saw a lot of things burst onto the scene form new game stores (Epic store) to all the world premiere announcements at the Game Awards and so much more.

Bethesda is really pulling out all the stops to make sure your game experience this year isn't the best one.

Red Dead Redemption is out, and boy is it good but was it worth it with the way devs are treated. CD Projekt Red have all their own things going on as well. Lots in the Witcher world coming to life.

From Assassin's Creed to Unholy. A lot of games coming out. The Sims 4 has yet another expansion to make this number 415.

A few standouts this week with some off-track talk about the new Minecraft dungeons, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Lone Echo 2 and Last Year. Most of these will come out on steam, which is exactly what the head of Larian studios is defending. Last but not least we will definitely talk more about Telltale and the debacle they are in.

In a very busy week for law makers around the globe tackling loot boxes, Telltale games throwing in the towel and a whole lot of games coming out, this week has a lot to cover.
