Synopsis

Luke Henley and Collin Stapleton meet every week to ask each other the hard-hitting questions. Plus, every other week a guest stops by to give their non-expert opinion on a different topic. It's like your favorite interview format show except you don't know who these people are and it's just these two guys every single week.

  • Writing and Villains

    07/10/2020 Duration: 01h43min

Collin and Luke flex their big brains to talk writing — the process, the influences, why they still do it even though it physically and psychically hurts! Plus, Collin puts Luke on the hot seat to name their top five favorite villains of all time (a task which is barely muddled through). Check it out, buds!

  • Gambling and Dogs

    29/05/2019 Duration: 56min

Luke got a dang dog! I mean months ago, but you get to hear about it now. McDuff rules, and so does Collin at the blackjack table — that's right roll the dice with the boys cuz we're also talking CASINOS and GAMES OF CHANCE. Vice reigns — season 3 baby!

  • Mixtapes, Losing Weight, and DJing

    29/05/2019 Duration: 01h23min

Esteemed guest Theodore Schafer joins the boys to talk DJ sets — what makes a good one? Or at least, what makes a fun one? Collin talks the good old days of mixtapes (or burned CDs) and Luke talks about losing weight — something which he struggles with constantly. SEASON 3 CONTINUES BABY!

  • The Fall and Murderers

    29/05/2019 Duration: 57min

You can tell how long it's been since we've put an eppy up — that's slang for episode — because this episode is all about the season of FALL (which it was when we recorded it). Is this the start of season 3? WHO KNOWS? Luke talks about murderers.

  • Grocery Stores, Stickers, and Museums

    05/12/2018 Duration: 01h43min

Collin has plenty to say about the places we buy food at while Luke struggles to remember why he wanted to talk about stickers. Michael Wilson's most recent book of poems If Any Gods Lived is available now via Stalking Horse Press (https://www.stalkinghorsepress.com/)

  • Fire and Generations

    20/11/2018 Duration: 56min

This one is a real slow burn — and that makes perfect sense because Collin wanted to talk about FIRE. You might not want to get too invested in the subject, though, because there are a lot of detours on this one. But presumably that’s why you’re here? I hope so. Luke also was planning to talk about something, but it never even comes close to being brought up. So, uh, Luke talks about generations. This one is for the superfans.

  • Movie Trailers and Re-watches

    20/11/2018 Duration: 01h21min

Usually these dudes don’t know what they’re talking about, but Collin is actually the foremost expert in his field on this episode’s topic. Movie trailers. He’s like a professor of them. Doctor trailers. And in a rare turn of events — Luke’s topic is related to Collin’s! What kind of cohesive threads are these? Luke discusses re-watching movies.

  • School Sports and Suicide

    17/10/2018 Duration: 01h07min

Obviously if you are having a hard time and think these topics might be upsetting, please don't listen. But if you want to hear a really heartfelt conversation between two friends that love each other while dealing with the hard stuff — please come on in. Also, Collin talks about school sports so you can just stop after that if you want because there are plenty of obscure references and jokes during that part. Take care of each other and yourselves.

  • Camping and Cleaning

    02/10/2018 Duration: 46min

It might not sound like it, but this is one rip-roaring episode as Collin and Luke head out to the woods and start fires. In terms of their conversation, that is. Plus, Luke gives you some tips on how to clean up afterward. After what? Who knows! SEASON TWO BABY!!!

    15/05/2018 Duration: 52min

  • Trick or Treat! and Guitars

    24/04/2018 Duration: 42min

Luke and Collin dial it down a bit on the energy level. What does that mean for you? A gentle lavender-scented breeze as you stroll through a lovely nature walk of an episode. Collin talks Trick-or-treating and Luke laments his many stolen guitars.

  • Sleep and Social Media

    17/04/2018 Duration: 49min

Luke and Collin try to figure out just how to unplug from both consciousness and the internet on this week's meeting of the minds. Are they dumb minds? Collin starts to think they might be! Also, Luke shares a very basic salad dressing recipe so def tune in for that!

  • Pets and Death

    03/04/2018 Duration: 54min

Luke and Collin get way too introspective on their 10th episode. If these were coming out once a year this would mark a decade of IIYYIM. Lucky for you (potentially) they have a slightly greater work ethic than that. These dudes are talking about pets and death, and it gets about as funny as that sounds. Also, the wisdom of famous historical figure Forrest Gump is dissected. That's just a bonus for you.

    28/03/2018 Duration: 01h01min

Artist/illustrator Lindsay Payton (ig: pinseyrose) joins Luke and Collin to talk about co-workers – what makes 'em good? What makes 'em the worst? We keep shit-talking to a minimum! Collin talks about his beginnings in the theater and Luke talks about dead media and his record store clerk dreams that he has achieved.

    18/03/2018 Duration: 01h23min

Luke and Collin really take their time exploring every possible detour they can as they talk about Collin's history with allergies. Luke's fashion sense is dissected and celebrated. Enjoy this SUPER EXTRA LONG episode – brought to you by no formal sponsors.
