On Episode 8 we talk with rapper, podcaster and activist, Sole. As a longtime fan of his podcast, The Solecast, it was great to have him on the guest side of the mic to talk about, hip hop, the development of his revolutionary politics and what it takes to stay positive.

I've been following Kelly Dessaint's long-running zine series Piltdownlad for some time, so it's a privilege to have him on the show. His zine series, Behind the Wheel, began as way for him to cover the tech industry in San Francisco by driving for Uber and Lyft. He descended pretty far into the belly of the sleazy tech beast, from shutting down Ayn Rand-reading tech bros to crashing a worker advocacy conference that didn't invite any workers. He tells us about these adventures and why he's now a proud cab driver.

We got to talk to Danbert Nobacon of Chumbawamba about being an Anarcho Punk in England during it’s heyday. He gets into the Miner’s Strike and the Thatcher Era, squatting and using pranks to bring down The Man. He also talks about what it was like to be an Anarchist in a band that reached superstardom and has a lot to say about current politics.
