The guys say farewell to Lucy in the first scene and speculate about Ben Horne's possible future after his altercation with Doc Hayward. Is he going to be in a wheelchair alongside "Wheels" Deschanel? Also, is this a final bow for Audrey Horne? Say it ain't so! DemiGod Rob gets question about his medical knowledge again this week and even fields a Bible question. Podcast From Another Place #30 - Miss Twin Peaks
04/11/2015 Duration: 43minIt's time to crown a Queen and open that door to The Black Lodge! With only one episode left after this one, the guys try to figure out what cliffhangers are coming, what have already been left open and why exactly did Audrey get to skip out so much on the Miss Twin Peaks events? Dustin and Drex decide to be distracting hype guys as Stevil almost lost his calm, collected composure before the show just trying to get DemiGod Rob's sparkling voice on the air. Once that's out-of-the-way, they get down to business before getting distracted again by former Calgary Flames hockey players. Drifting off topic is to be expected, right? As Fire Walk With Me is now looming, our panel make the final decision on what cut of the film they will be covering for our finale. *SNIFF* It's only two weeks away.... The new series couldn't get here fast enough.

Podcast From Another Place #29 - The Path to The Black Lodge
30/10/2015 Duration: 01h01minThe guys are at the episode before the two-part finale of Twin Peaks! All four of our panel members are here as the ground work is laid for our showdown to begin. The Roadhouse is set up for the 20th anniversary of the Miss Twin Peaks pageant and the race looks pretty tight, as each of our guys have a different winner picked in their minds. The battle of wits between Agent Cooper and his crazed former partner Windom Earle hits a high note, forcing Coop to start playing off book. Is this out of desperation or will it cause Windom to make a mistake. Meanwhile, Audrey Horne has moved on from the lawman and sealed the deal with John Justice Wheeler AKA The BFZ. Only two more after this one as our episodic time is running out....

Podcast From Another Place #28 - Variations on Relations
21/10/2015 Duration: 59minWe're almost on the Black Lodge's door steps as the guys are now into the final four episodes of the second season. Without Drex this week, our panel first talks about a few recent developments and issues surrounding Twin Peaks and the upcoming series before getting to business. Meanwhile, The Miss Twin Peaks competition is getting underway, Windom Earle adds more and more great costume choices to his wardrobe and Coop may be getting that FBI swagger back, as well as something else from Annie... DemiGod Rob and Stevil are pleased to see Sam Raimi's brother Ted get a guest spot as Windom's new art project and everyone is massively perplexed to what a "monkey show" is. Seriously, Pete Martell has to be one of the most perplexing characters ever. The guys are almost ready to fire walk, only three more episodes!

Podcast From Another Place #27 - On the Wings of Love
08/10/2015 Duration: 54minAfter this episode the guys only have four episodes of season two left! This week love is in the air for Agent Cooper and, apparently two of the three guys can't get enough of the Ryan Adams cover album 1989. The only thing that will be able to drown it out is our panel’s Gordon Cole impressions. The age issue between Jack Wheeler and Audrey Horne is discussed as well as the fact that NO ONE SEEMS TO GO TO SCHOOL! Windom Earle shows up with another classic disguise and Shelly is a miracle worker with Gordon Cole. Drex, Stevil and Dustin (DemiGod Rob was absent for this one) ask the important questions as we head to the upcoming Miss Twin Peaks Pageant and our finale show down. We're so close!

Podcast From Another Place #26 – Wounds and Scars
01/10/2015 Duration: 57minThe guys are down an Aussie in the latest episode of Podcast From Another Place, but it's great news for Dustin as Heather Graham AKA Annie is now in the Northwest Passage and Dale Cooper is absolutely infatuated right away. Windom Earle dons some questionable disguises while Donna Hayward exhibits even more questionable judgement. Billy F***ing Zane and Audrey have a James-reminiscent picnic at the lake and Harry is hitting rock bottom. The Miss Twin Peaks Pageant is mentioned, bringing us closer to the finale of season two. We also get a ridiculously awful fashion show and Dick gets in a tussle with a woodland critter. Join Stevil, Dustin and DemiGod Rob as we near the end of this iconic series!

Podcast From Another Place #25 - The Condemned Woman
24/09/2015 Duration: 56minThings are heating up in the Northwest Passage as our panel moves closer and closer to the finale of season two and our series capper (for now) Fire Walk With Me. The guys start of with addressing the casting of Amanda Seyfried in the new series and speculate to who she could be cast as. They also delve into the family history of new cast member Balthazar Getty who has previously worked with David Lynch in Lost Highway. The "No Season 3 spoilers" rule still applies. It's a big episode for the boys as two major characters exit the series today as well as the reveal of Billy F***ing Zane (that's how his name is pronounced). Dustin is getting excited for the arrival of Norma's sister, who is mentioned in this episode. So come join the guys as their almost at the end of this chapter. Definitely check this one out for Dustin's beautiful poetry reading, in the honor of Windom Earle and those three iconic beauties!

Podcast From Another Place #24 - Slaves and Masters
16/09/2015 Duration: 50minAfter a few weeks of dead space, the boys are back to talk about Twin Peaks! With production now underway, the guys are now podcasting about a series that's been thrust into more relevancy than it's seen in more than twenty years. It's exciting times for Twin Peaks fans! With only eight episodes remaining in the series, our panel is starting to see their more disliked storylines end and the full emergencies of new and interesting characters. The major one in question is Windom Earle with his dirty underwear onesie and his recorder. What is he prepping Leo the Lion for? The return of Albert Rosenfeld prompts a great bromance moment that the guys can relate to and how clouded is Harry's judgement when it comes to Josie Packard. All this and more on the newest episode of Podcast From Another Place!

Podcast From Another Place #11 - Coma
19/08/2015 Duration: 49minThe guys are ready to dive into episode two of the second season, this time one hundred percent less Australian, as Drex missed out on this week's fun. Good news though! DemiGod Rob is back and gives us his thoughts on that insane season opener. This week felt much shorter to the boys, after the double long episode the week before, but with David Lynch at the helm again you know some insane stuff is going down. Ben and Jerry scheme like mad and may have even plotted more murders, Audrey is trapped at One Eyed Jack's, Leo's precarious health is addressed and Lucy may have been sleeping around? Oh David Lynch and Mark Frost! Our one pure character of Lucy isn't so pure! The questions and observations come fast in this episode. Dustin wonders if Laura had a thing with the creamed corn lady, Rob is still massively grossed out by Hank's domino (how DID he get it in and out of jail?) and Steve is still putting together that conspiracy theory. So join the Podcast From Another Place for another foray into the woods o

Podcast From Another Place #23 - Double Play
19/08/2015 Duration: 47minWe only have 9 episodes left of season 2 of Twin Peaks and this one's a pretty good one for Podcast From Another Place. First the guys chat about the official announcement from Showtime on Twin Peaks starting production in September and filming it like a movie. This is some exciting news! Then they move on to the episode. Windom Earle last "chess" move is analyzed by Coop and he gives Harry all the dirty details on what went down between him and his former partner. Jerry is back in town to hopefully pull Ben out of his crazy rut and we are approaching the final act of James' runaway story. So join our panel for another episode and look out for the owls! They're acting crazy this week!

Podcast From Another Place #22 - Checkmate
05/08/2015 Duration: 48minWelcome to another instalment of Podcast From Another Place as The Stevil Dead, Drex, DemiGod Rob and Dustin continue through the final ten episodes of Twin Peaks second season and this is a pretty eventful episode with more White Lodge talk and a pretty thorough ass kicking. It seems like sexy times are afoot this week as multiple characters get together, as well as a brotherly twist that grosses the guys out. James's champagne etiquette is questioned, Ben Horne gets a small victory in his civil war and is Harry Truman turned on by Josie Packard's maids uniform? Where's the hat? Yes, lots went down this week, more than can possibly fit in this description and Windom Earle is oh so close! So grab your coffee and pie, we're almost at The Black Lodge!
-
Podcast From Another Place #21 - The Black Widow
22/07/2015 Duration: 51minAs Drex is on vacation this week, it's just the three guys, Stevil, DemiGod Rob and Dustin as they continue into the final dozen episodes of Twin Peaks second season. The dreaded "James The Runaway" is almost nearing it's conclusion, Audrey is back on the scene and we creep closer and closer to Windom Earle. It's a significantly better episode to talk about this week on the podcast. An unfortunate death happens again in Twin Peaks leading to a seemingly outlandish accusation. The Little Nicky versus Dick Tremayne story continues as Dick gets some new information on his little buddy's past. Coop is looking at getting some property at Dead Dog Farm and Pete delivers the beginning of a limerick that we would like you, the audience to finish for us. We will read them out on the podcast in two weeks! So dig in to this next episode of our Twin Peaks companion podcast and send questions and comments to us on Twitter as well!

Podcast From Another Place #20 - Masked Ball
16/07/2015 Duration: 46minWe're starting that dreaded "Runaway James" storyline that DemiGod Rob and Dustin have been wishing to avoid this week on the podcast. We also continue down that path of forty year old adolescent weirdness that calls herself Nadine. Are the guys the only ones who dislike this part of the series? We need people to explain James and Nadine! This episode also marks the debut of Denise Bryson, otherwise known as David Duchovny in drag. This leads the guys to a pretty serious yet informative discussion on the trans community. At Podcast From Another Place we like to educate...... and discuss James bowel problems, but educate nonetheless! Hank interrupts Ben Horne's reminiscences about the past and doesn't give him the courtesy of a feng shui, Catherine gets a new maid and Andy and Dick meet the problem child (you know, that 90s movie). All this on our new episode, check it out!

Podcast From Another Place #19 - Dispute Between Brothers
07/07/2015 Duration: 52minThe guys are once again in the same room, encased in the middle of a heat wave, surrounded by a world on fire. Dramatic? Yes, but no worries because it is time, once again, for another installment of Podcast From Another Place with Stevil, Drex, DemiGod Rob and Dustin Collins! The show does a massive shift this week after last weeks huge episode. The wake for Leland Palmer becomes a very sentimental and reminiscent event and Coop prepares to leave Twin Peaks now that the case of Laura Palmer is closed. The show start to derail a bit for the guys with the Nadine getting enrolled in high school storyline. It signifies the beginning of the end of the series or at least the start of a large lull period (we're looking at you runaway story in the future episodes, James!). At least we still have that Windom Earle stuff coming up! Join the guys as they continue down the trail of Twin Peaks, coming to the inevitable showdown at the Black Lodge!

Podcast From Another Place #18 - Arbitrary Law
02/07/2015 Duration: 44minWelcome back to the Podcast From Another Place! Stevil, Drex, Dustin and DemiGod Rob present a massively pivotal episode of Twin Peaks together or at least until the scorching heatwave burnt away their Skype connection. Nonetheless, the guys press on through this episode filled with complete weirdness, Dutch angles and melodrama. Nothing can overshadow the incredible performance that Ray Wise gives. It's truly an amazing thing to watch. That's not all there is to this episode! Tojamura reveals a foot fetish, James gets all bunged up again and Lucy lays down the law. The guys end of their episode by hypothetically planning out a Kentucky trip. So strap on some new shoes and head back into the forest!!
-
Podcast From Another Place #17 - Drive With A Dead Girl
24/06/2015 Duration: 53minThe guys are very happy to be reunited in the same room again, maybe too much, but hey, it's interesting times in Twin Peaks so there's lots of room for happiness and excitement. They catch up a little with Drex's feelings on last week's episode and then jump headlong into this latest one. After the massive reveal last week Bob is now fully in control of Leland and maybe getting a little cocky about it. Ben Horne has hit rock bottom and Catherine finally rises like a phoenix from the ashes to deliver the dagger to his back. Also, Norma's mom is in town and seems to be heavily critical about everything. Hmmmmm....... The guys debate schizophrenia versus possession and the limberness of a one-armed man diving out of a window and the likely speed in which that would happen. Then the guys start talking about an invitation, not to love, but to Kentucky to maybe do a live podcast. The conversation then turns to chicken, then branding and finally Colonel Sanders. What's this show about again? So, come join the guys

Podcast From Another Place #16 - Lonely Souls
17/06/2015 Duration: 52minThis week the guys of Podcast From Another Place have something a little different for you. Stevil and Dustin have DemiGod Rob on the line from the interior and guest subbing in for Drex this week is Stevil's wife and co-creator of The League of Manchildren, JStebz!! They get to talk about this being her first time through the series and her general impression of the series. Then our panel gets down to the business at hand, because, wow, what a pivotal episode! Ben Horne is shaken to his very foundation as the Great Northern is under deep scrutiny from the Sheriff's Department with their Killer Bob "Barometer" Mike and then Audrey finally confronts him about One Eyed Jacks! The most horrifying scene of the entire series concludes this episode and the guys and Jen are completely baffled that it was allowed to air on primetime television.... in the 90s! Also, Rob informs us of a separate scene filmed with Richard Beymer that everyone is DYING to see! Come back and join us is the Northwest Passage again, we've g

Podcast From Another Place #15 - Demons
10/06/2015 Duration: 44minThe guys are one short this week as DemiGod Rob is back on the road again, but Stevil, Drex and Dustin dig right in to this episode, first dealing with that cliffhanger from last week. Are Donna and Maddy still trapped in Harold's orchid lair? Will they get out? Is there at least a bathroom for James to destroy? This episode also marks the arrival of David Lynch himself as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, Coop's immediate superior. The only unfortunate thing about Cole's arrival is the news that Albert won't be returning which saddens Dustin. We also get the homecoming of Leo, to be cared for by his doting wife Shelly and "cousin" Bobby but is Leo really a vegetable or is he still extremely dangerous? For a large part this film should be noted for all the awkward hugs Ben Horne is a part of. The guys counted four, each one weirder than the one before it and wait a second.... did Leland just pocket some hair? What? Come back and join our faithful Twin Peaks fans as they journey closer to the conclusion o

Podcast From Another Place #14 - The Orchid's Curse
27/05/2015 Duration: 58minThis week the guys actually get Skype to work for them and DemiGod Rob is able to join in on the fun from his station in the Kootenays! This makes Drex, Stevil and Dustin very happy because, as Drex puts it, Rob is the color commentator of the podcast and, oh boy, there's some color in this episode, mostly blue and off. Things are shaking up in the Northwest Passage as it's time for Coop to save the damsel in distress but is Jean Renault going to let her go without a fight? Who is this Japanese businessman who has checked into the Great Northern and where is Lucy really going? So many questions and so much murder is a foot this week! The guys give this episode to Andy because, well, he's a whole damn town, how can you deny it's not his episode? They start the ball rolling on trying to book Harry Goaz for a podcast and wish Dana Ashbrook a very happy birthday. Then they get offensive, just like every week. So join the guys again as the make their way closer to the murderer of Laura Palmer!
