The Jesus Story
31/03/2024The Good News of Jesus One or two verse per chapter in John’s Gospel John 1:14 [14] The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:29 [29] The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 2:10 [10] and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.” John 2:19 [19] Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” John 3:3 [3] Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:16–17 [16] For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world thr

Mighty God
13/12/2023In this message Pastor Chad unpacks the second throne name given to Jesus in Isaiah 9:6-7. Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor AND the Mighty God in our midsts. Immediately after Jesus starts his ministry says, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is here!" Rethink everything and enter my kingdom my yielding to my perfect wise counsel that will actually lead to life. The very NEXT episode we see Jesus driving out demons, healing the sick and demonstrating the kingdom IN POWER! We need the MIGHTY GOD to defeat the principalities and powers and destroy the works of the devil. Jesus does all of this through his ministry and triumphs over sin and satan by becoming "weak" on the cross and defeats/dethrones the enemy.

Wonderful Counselor
03/12/2023In this message Pastor Chad walks through Isaiah 8:20-9:7. We kicked off our Advent journey walking through the four throne names given to Jesus...the child born and son given. First up, we need a WONDERFUL COUNSELOR because at its core, the FALL of humanity was the direct result of our REJECTING God's perfect wisdom, will, way and counsel in the garden. Jesus comes to us as the Incarnate Word, Wisdom with flesh and bone on who perfectly mediates God's will, wisdom and way to us. His first message (Matthew 4:17) was REPENT! Change your mind, QUIT listening to the father of lies who caused us to doubt God's counsel and wisdom and believe Jesus is the wisest most wonderful Savior and Shepherd.

Kingdom Come
26/11/2023In this message Pastor Chad walks us through what we mean by the "kingdom of God" breaking in to the earth. The KING shapes the nature of the kingdom. The best way to learn about what the kingdom of God is like is by learning about the KING...his will, word and way.

Hallowed Be Your Name
19/11/2023In this message, Pastor Chad unpacks how the whole life/ministry of Jesus was a revealing of the Father's name and nature. To hallow the Father's name is to make manifest his character, conduct, attitude and activity. We're called to worship, work and witness unto the Father's name being hallowed...held in high regard and honor by those around us.

In Heaven
12/11/2023What does it mean to have a Father "in heaven" and why is this SUCH good news? God the Father is more holy, glorious and transcendent that even the highest heavens cannot contain his majesty...at the very same time, He is closer than the very air that we breathe. When we look at the life of Jesus we are awakened to the reality of the nearness of the Father's presence throughout his whole ministry. The world Jesus inhabited was a God saturated reality that he invites us to experience and explore with him too. God is OUR FATHER and He is IN HEAVEN which means He sovereignly reigns over all the "powers" and is also INTIMATELY AVAILABLE to us in real time...ALL THE TIME!

Our Father: The Basis for All Prayer
05/11/2023In this message, Pastor Chad unpacks all the glorious dynamics that open to us when the Spirit makes as our operational reality the fact that God...the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is OUR FATHER! Jesus said that the SAME WAY the Father loves him so he loves YOU AND ME! When we know God as our Father it totally transforms the way we relate to God, grow in prayer and walk in confidence as royal sons and daughters.

Come to the Father
29/10/2023The only way to the Father is through the Son, Jesus Christ. Before we can call out with the disciples, "Our Father" we must be born again. The Bible makes it very clear that until we receive and believe in the Son we are still in death and a captive to the "father of lies". Jesus came as the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world and provides the ONLY WAY back to the Father.

The Tap - the Spirit, the Water and the Blood
22/10/20231 John 5:6-12 This is the one who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. [7] For there are three that testify: [8] the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. [9] We accept human testimony, but God's testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. [10] Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. [11] And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. Apart from him there is no life. The blood and water show us two important aspects of the Lord’s death: the redemptive aspect (blood) and the life-imparting aspect (water). The blood that cle

End Time Vision for NOW!
08/10/2023In this message we walk through Micah 4:1-7 where the prophet paints an AMAZING picture of what is coming in FULLNESS when Christ comes again. However, eschatology is not meant to cause us to be passive or indifferent to how live in the present...to the contrary, the vision of the END is meant to inform and infuse our PRESENT priorities, pursuits and purpose! As such, Micah 4 unpacks in powerful fashion our four pillars as a church community. Becoming a DWELLING PLACE, DISCIPLESHIPS in COMMUNITY, DISCOVERING our REDEMPTIVE POTENTIAL and being DEPLOYED with kingdom mission.

Every YES is an OFFERING!
01/10/2023In this message we go deeper into Romans 12:1-2...what does it actually mean to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to God? At the intersection of every act of obedience the kingdom comes and a living sacrifice goes up to the Lord through Jesus Christ. All of life is an opportunity to bring glory and honor to God through an all of life offering of obedience and love.

A Living Sacrifice
24/09/2023In this message Pastor Chad traces the biblical storyline as one long desire of God to dwell in the midst of his people. In light of God's amazing redemptive pursuit what should our response be to his burning passion to dwell with us? To offer our bodies (the entirety of our lives) up to Jesus in sacrificial obedience and worship.

Our End = God's Beginning
10/09/2023In this message Dan Bohi walks us through the story of Moses, highlighting the importance of coming to the end of ourselves so that God's power and purpose can come through our yielded lives. End Time Strategy: JESUS, PRAYER, COMMUNITY, MISSION
03/09/20231 Peter 4:7-11 [7] The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. [8] Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. [9] Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. [10] Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. [11] If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. The STORY of GOD and the BELIEVER’S HOPE - where are we in the unfolding drama of Scripture? How then shall we live? A healthy vision of the end shapes and sustains our CURRENT priorities, practices, passions, and pursuits! PRAYER - connects and reorients us to what Jesus is saying, thinking, feeling, and wanting to do…encounters God’s love…engages with God in co

Reading Plan: Psalm 1-2, Proverbs 1, Matthew 1
01/09/2023Sept 1 Psalm 1-2, Proverbs 1, Matthew 1 Psalm 1:1-2 NIV Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, [2] but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. No one just “wakes up” and decides to blow up their life with sin. Look at the slow sequence here: WALK with the wicked… STAND in the way of sinners… SIT in the company of mockers… We see it is an incremental journey to destruction when we try and do life our own way. Look at the sequence of life for the righteous: Psalm 1:2-3 NIV …but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. [3] That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers. DELIGHT in the law of the LORD MEDITATES day and night TREE planted by water FRUIT in season NEVER withers ALWAYS prospers Pick your path! Psal
