Immediately after Jesus starts his ministry says, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is here!" Rethink everything and enter my kingdom my yielding to my perfect wise counsel that will actually lead to life. The very NEXT episode we see Jesus driving out demons, healing the sick and demonstrating the kingdom IN POWER! We need the MIGHTY GOD to defeat the principalities and powers and destroy the works of the devil. Jesus does all of this through his ministry and triumphs over sin and satan by becoming "weak" on the cross and defeats/dethrones the enemy.
