Podcaster/Sonic Storyteller Jeff Emtman joins Karl and Trevor this week to talk about his life, his career in podcasting and radio, and how producing the show Here Be Monsters has aided in him essentially overcoming a fear OF EVERYTHING. Jeff is not manic or agitated, in fact, he is calmly the opposite. But he reminisces on his younger self and how fear, insomnia and being generally "freaked out" about the world motivated him to hitchhike from Bellingham to Mississippi and back. Later, Jeff moved to Boulder, CO, taught himself audio editing and sound design, and begin laying the foundation for his method of artistic expression. In retrospect, this conversation might be crazier than it seemed because the 3 touch on such areas as: Octopus Janitor, eating placenta, "heroin gun," and landscape photography at twilight.
