  • [Ep 21] Avoid the Trap of Doing Everything as an Entrepreneur

    05/12/2015 Duration: 51min

Monty, who I’ll introduce during the podcast interview, specializes in helping entrepreneurs buy more of their time back, so that they can do the aspects of the business they really enjoy doing, and learn to delegate the rest.  This results in more efficient action, and the ability to build your small business to something larger, if you wish. After talking to Monty, it made me evaluate my own processes with hiring out the many pieces I need to implement in creating my next big project for 2016 - the “Turn my idea into an offer” e-course.  I actually got really excited to start separating what was my role in non negotiable tasks, and what the other tasks were that I could outsource. And you know what?  Even if you don’t currently have a business yet, but you’re building it, this is an amazing episode for you to listen to because there may actually be parts of your launch or business building process that may make sense for you to outsource...so YOU can focus on the

Following the sudden and unexpected death of a friend, Morgan realized what her parents had always been telling her was painfully true: life is short. Now out of corporate prison, she is a brand strategist and designer for heart centered yet sweary ladypreneurs at her business.  She is also a tiny human with a big mouth just like me! We talk about her escape story, but also her advice on how to create authentic branding for heart-centered entrepreneurs.  What are the real focuses you should be paying attention to rather than the aesthetics?  It's time to find out!

  • [EP 18] Build Your Tribe and Lead With Impact

    14/10/2015 Duration: 01h03min

I’m so excited about the conversation I get to have with my podcast guest this week, Arthur Carmazzi who founded Directive Communication Psychology, because we get to talk about a two huge topics that I love - FEAR and IMPACT. He is ranked as one of the world's top 10 thought leader gurus in leadership. He has supported over 250 individuals to screw the cubicle with new careers as international trainers and consultants... some who are making in excess of $100,000 per month. Arthur’s message with his work also resonates with mine.  He believes that one person’s footprint can make a huge impact. For him it was a teacher in 8th grade, Mr Bacchus, who literally changed his destiny, and you’ll hear a bit about that on our interview.  The footprint we create during our lifetime can affect the course of history, or not even be noticed. Thanks to his teacher, Arthur has had the privilege of inspiring hundreds of thousands people (and had Lots of Fun Doing It ) who have gone on t

This week, I loved, loved, loved interviewing Pace Smith, who is a Pathfinding coach, a teacher, a speaker, a writer, and many more roles as you’ll hear about during our interview.  I loved how Pace was a multi-passionate person, and allowed herself to use all her passions with her current career now.   Her old career also used to be something completely opposite...and I really enjoyed having a great conversation with Pace about how she dealt with that new shift in direction, how she learned to be more authentic with her life and work, and her amazing wisdom on how to find purpose and follow your heart compassion.

  • [EP12] Having a Plan With a Purpose When Escaping the 9-5

Siedah Mitchum helps businesses and one woman shops tap into the essences of who they are and their mission to create a beautiful on-line home for their business that allows them to grow, change lives, and get their message out to the world.   She got my first client as a web designer at the age of 14 years old working part-time for myself.   Three years ago, while she was working for a small business her boss cut her hours due to shortage of income, which was really a blessing in disguise, as it propelled her to start working for herself.  In this episode, I share Siedah’s story about her leap to entrepreneurship, and her tips for YOU, on what you may need to get started on launching your first website.

  • [EP 10] Letting Go of Control to Finally See Your Path

    24/06/2015 Duration: 01h02min

On the 10th episode of my podcast, I got to interview Mona Motwani, a human rights attorney turned entrepreneur.  This episode is very special to me. Though we talk about her transition from non-profit lawyer to entrepreneur, it is her story about survival and perseverance of overcoming lyme disease that took centre stage. Mona was diagnosed with lyme disease in 2008, but her health had already taken a spin for the worst as of 2005. By 2007, she could barely function even to walk to the bathroom, and had to quit her job as a human rights attorney.  Eight years of being bedridden and needing the support of others to help her with basic day to day like eating and  going to the bathroom was a huge change for someone like Mona, whose type A personality never gave her permission to ask for help, as she was the person that dedicated her life at the time to helping others in need with her career.
