    19/08/2016 Duration: 50min

Fiona Barrows is an ex-literary agent, freelance copywriter, a location independent living in Ubud, Bali.  Before she arrived in Bali, she traveled solo around Asia for almost a year.   Her determination to make her dream life work is highly inspiring.  She's very honest about the ups and down of freelance life, which is quite refreshing.  Her focus right now is to be "curiously creative," and she's taken on this mission quite seriously, but with her own personality and to create for creating sake.  This is something I really struggle with, and we take a dive into how to be creative in the life that you have.  Find Fiona Online Website  Twitter  Instagram

  • 21 - Danielle Spurge of Merriweather Council and She Percolates

    13/08/2016 Duration: 39min

Danielle is the chief-bossypants at Merriweather Council – she teaches handmade shops owners how to grow their online presence and make more sales. How awesome is that! She's also the co-host of She Percolates, a twice-weekly podcast. They ask women to define what success means to them and then facilitate a conversation about success. If you haven't listened to it, it's quite inspiring. If you are interested in MY episode, you can listen here. What I love the most is that Danielle was willing to shift in her business, which has proven to be super successful. She's also willing to expand her creativity and try to fit all of the pieces together after she's flexed her creative muscles. Danielle defines a creative person as someone who takes pieces and puts them together in new ways.   See why I love her so much! J

  • 20 - Yasmine Khater of YasmineKhater.com

    08/07/2016 Duration: 42min

Yasmine Khater is an award-winning entrepreneur and the host of The Sales Success Show. She's known for whipping business owners into shape through her Earn $5K program, Fearless Sales Intensive, and Sell Out Service. This may be the most business-y podcast interview I've done. We nerded out about business, sales, strategy, and growth. The best part is that you can see how much Yasmine and I truly have in common! Yasmine calls herself a "fearless sales strategist." She helps people overcome fears around sales and then building an awesome sales strategy to create an endless growing machine. She says that fearless is not the absence of fear, but pushing through and working on it anyways. I think we can learn a lot from this podcast episode. I listened to it 3 times, and I can't recommend it enough.

  • 19 - Hayley Griffiths of A Life of More

    01/07/2016 Duration: 32min

Hayley Griffiths is obsessed with traveling. She's either working in travel or working in the travel world. She started travel blogging as a way to document her life and her worldly adventures. She's more interested in seeking a happy life, and that's what she focuses on in A Life of More. Instead of checking off things from her bucket list like she used to, she cares more about enrichment. Hayley thinks more about what she can give back to the world as she goes through everything. Inspiring, right! To Hayley, a life of more means growing through travel and making travel meaningful. More importantly, her tagline, travel often, live simply, be happy, encompasses everything she believes in. Hayley did her first round-the-world trip at age 23, which was the pivotal travel moment. She was hooked! Long-term travel, she believes, is enriching in a way that short-term travel isn't. Long-term travel allows her to maintain her life in the UK but gives her stints to travel around the world. Even back in the UK, Hayley

    24/06/2016 Duration: 29min

Rachel Moffett is the genius behind The Haute Notes. She's a content and blogging coach for creative, female entrepreneurs. As you'll hear in this interview, she and I have a lot in common. She's been blogging since 209, and her major goal is to create amazing content online. She quit her job a little over a year ago to be a full-time, and she has allowed herself and her blog to change and evolve over the year. If this doesn't speak true to your heart, I don't know what does! Rachel is most open when she's talking about her goals. She lists her monthly goals on her blog, which is highly inspiring for me. She stays organized by using Asana, a paper planner, and lots and lots of to-do lists. Soul. Mates. Rachel also gives some really personal insight to what life is like as an entrepreneur, such as staying motivated, working from home, and getting things done. She breaks up her day by taking walks to make sure that she can be the most productive as possible. Rachel is such an expert on blogging, so I wante

  • 13 - Never Stop Learning

    29/04/2016 Duration: 19min

After I tell you a fun story from my childhood, I dig deep into ways that YOU can begin learning, studying, and experimenting in your life. I use a few resources to keep my brain working. Of course, there are regular books. But I also listen to courses and lectures from iTunesU, a free resource on iTunes. They have classes from MIT, Stanford, Ohio State, Harvard, Oxford, and more! If you are looking for something more traditional, I would suggest Khan Academy, Coursera, Udemy, and Ted talks. One of the books I'm reading is The Artist's Way, a 12-week study into creativity and a deep-dive into what makes you an artist. You know that if I'm working through this book that you don't have to have the visual "eye" and you don't have to have experience with art. The beauty of the book is that you're allowed to explore your creativity in a way that feels natural to you. One of the ecourses I'm currently taking is the Better Lettering Course from Made Vibrant. For only $20, Caroline teaches you how to create awesome h
