Saif, Quantitative Trader at Darwinex, is a staunch believer in the benefits of Quantitative Data Analysis over visual Technical Analysis. He believes that Technical Analysis is overly subjective and trading decisions as a result are prone to “confusion bias”. Quants instead, employ Statistics, Time Series Analysis and Machine Learning to discover inefficiencies. The trading strategies that result from this R&D have higher odds of being scalable, than those discovered by Technical Analysis.
