CPP Sideshow 150 - Cam K Morton ... The K is for Comedy!
21/07/2025 Duration: 55minProducer. Director. Comedian … and easy on the eye, Mr. Glovebox Comedy, Cam is our super fun sideshow guest this week. If you were looking for a podcast with two production nerds talking the importance of 1st meal on set being hot … then THIS is the podcast for you, Jacques crossed paths in the stand-up circles with Cam pretty early on when he fell down this rabbit hole of weird people seeking approval from strangers by telling jokes about how bad at sex they are. Cam, unlike so so many in this comedy thing – has actually real big-time credits on major TV and Movies AND … AND … again, unlike most talking about using those skills to do SOMETHING in comedy … Cam has turned Glovebox Comedy from occasionally producing booked shows and a weekly open mic into a full on comedy production (burgeoning) empire. Producing like stand up, comedy gameshows events, sketches and improv events. Cam is a super fun follow on the social. Loving his tours of MBTA stations. Camkmorton on IG Also: @glovebox.tv and @glo

Sideshow 149 - Sitcom Game Shows Cross Overs Part 1
23/06/2025 Duration: 01h16minThe thing Joe loves MOST on this planet (sure sure wife and kids …) Old Game Shows and the thing Jacques loves MOST on this planet (comment censored) … old Sitcoms. So when recently watching an episode of The Golden Girls … in which Dorothy ties out for Jeopardy (yes the great Alex Trebek AND Merv Griffen are on this episode) this send the boys down a rabbit hole which resulted in Joe’s Plex becoming a cornucopia of (mostly) sitcom’s in which one of the characters wound up on a REAL game show. Starting with The Jackie Gleason Show in which the entire episode was a “Honeymooners” sketch where Ralph and Alice go on “Beat The Clock” We have a hat trick of different sitcom’s crossing over with The Gong Show. There are 8 billion people on this planet and 9 billion podcast … but only ONE which brings you a beat by beat breakdown of the October 3, 1986 magical cross over of the sitcom 227 and Wheel Of Fortune! Yes, I DID say this is part 1 or … how many … let’s just say MORE then 2. You’re welcome ‘Meri

CPP Ep. 272 - In Jacques We Trust
09/06/2025 Duration: 01h33minJacques takes a well-deserved break from helping an elderly woman get their house in order on the other side of the country to tell Joe and Biff all about the grueling--yet fulfulling (?)--ordeal in great detail. TL;DR: Set up your family trust TODAY! Plus: Biff is watching anime and the Stanley Cup Final, and Joe is watching episodes of the 1980s game show "Scrabble" and his life slip away. Jacques also brings up a classic episode of "The Golden Girls" where Dorothy dreams of going on "Jeopardy!" and Joe is finally listening to what Jacques has to say on the podcast! CPP Ep. 271 - Carnival Personnel 8th Anniversary Spectacular!
27/05/2025 Duration: 01h27minJust kidding, it's not spectacular in the least. Enjoy another regular old episode of Jacques, Joe and Biff talking about standup comedy, NHL hockey and TV watching. Oh, and Jacques does a very good deed for someone on the end of the country... the better end, some might say. Not to be confused with the "bitter end", to which is what we encourage you to listen to this whole episode. And, you're welcome, no opening or closing music. Joe took over the "editing" for this one, and he don't got a lotta time for caring about production. No, sir, he has to devote what little free time he has to spending time with his friends (old game show episodes) and family (comments section on retro video game YouTube videos).

CPP Sideshow 148 - Luckiest Man In America Recap
19/05/2025 Duration: 59minJoe and Jacques (and shockingly, more Joe then Jacques) talk the new movie based on the infamous 1984 episode of Press Your Luck where an Ice Cream truck driver from Ohio won over 100k in one day. Was he cheating? Was it an inside job? Was it dumb luck? Is this guy who he says he is? We had fun talking what the movie got right and what (admittedly) they took “artistic licensing with”. 40 years in the making and the movie and stars Paul Walter Hauser and Walton Goggins do not disappoint. More info then ANYONE wants as Jacques breaks his HIPPA rights to over share his medical voyage. New Marvel movie, 3 new Star Wars show – breakdown of quick trip to Toronto for MLS game … and … and … parenting tips! CPP Sideshow 147 - Jeremy Shipp of Winding Path Movies
05/05/2025 Duration: 01h23minJeremy Shipp is a writer (no, like really a writer … like people pay him to write stuff after lawyers and agents and studios agree that HE is a guy you want to pay to write for you …) he’s also one of our favorite social media content creators who has a passion for films and Hollywood that is infectious. Jeremy loves talking movies and writing so much … he talked to us! Well … Jacques did most of the talking but Jeremy, when he did get to talk, truly is one of the best guest we’ve ever had (or ever will!) Currently writing on an animated pre-school shows, he’s also written and directed a few award-winning horror shorts. Jeremy is by all accounts a good dad who if he goes to cool places like a theme park to shoot content, he’ll bring his kids! His Windingpathmovies Instagram (YouTube and FB) accounts should come with a disclaimer your about to fall down a rabbit hole and most likely will be lost for the next few hours! CPP Ep. 269 - Pope, Politics and Pro Hockey
28/04/2025 Duration: 01h02minJacques, Biff and Joe talk about the passing of Pope Francis, the latest political shenangeans of a certain dictatorial administration, and the NHL playoffs. Jacques also saw several Boston comedy legends perform during "Comedians in Their Shorts," a screening of several comics' short films at a Boston-area theater. And, um.... honestly, you can skip this episode. This was more of a wellness check than a podcast worth publishing. Yes, this is Joe writing the show notes this week. Jacques had too much to do and Biff knows better than to waste his time on this nonsense. But please check out next week's CPP Sideshow with filmmaker and TV writer Jeremy Shipp! He's quite listenable and interesting, unlike this trio here. Over. 22/04/2025 Duration: 01h13min11 plus years as a District Attorney … turned headlining comedian … author … musician … actor …. painter … to say Paul D’Angelo is a well-rounded Renaissance Man, is a vast understatement. CPP Ep. 268 - A Tariff On Your Ears
15/04/2025 Duration: 01h18minLike hearing a mediocre comic talk about his last week of mediocre sets at shows around New England … then this podcast is for you. Jacques tells Joe that YET AGAIN, the highlight to his last couple weeks in stand-up was seeing a Masters Class in Comedy play out in front of him as hero to all comics, Steve Bjork gave a tiny crowd the best show they will ever see. Is he one of the kindest sweetest people we’ve ever met? Yes. CPP Sideshow 145 - Sid Singh IS Illegally Funny
18/03/2025 Duration: 57minSid Singh is a Indian American Human Rights Lawyer … he’s also an amazing comedian living and touring Europe full time. Sid zoomed in from Sweden to chat with Jacques about his new special, “Illegally Funny” on YouTube. A friend of Jacques sent him an IG reel from Sid’s special that went viral and lucky for CPP, Sid didn’t block us when we asked if he’d do our humble little pod. Sid’s comedy is smart, political, thought provoking and brutally honest. Sid also … was on a legal team that beat Grifter & Chief Frump at The Supreme Court. Yes, he is that good at both. Great lengths will be gone thru so see Sid in NY or CA his next trip back to States. Give him a follow: SidSinghIsFunny on IG and YT Opening: Gomer By Beyond Id (The Stovin Years on Spotify) Closing Song: Tucker by Dan Cray (The Trump Era on Spotify) Thanks to Sid for letting up use clips from his special on this pod.
