Eldar guests on the 'Pushin' through Blu' Guest Spot for Episode 10

    30/07/2019 Duration: 01h07min

Hey everyone! I spoke with Dane Pevy on his awesome podcast, Pushin' Thru Blue. Dane has been a good friend of mine since we both joined the AteBit family of video game content creation, and while this particular episode doesn't touch on video games, I still wanted to add it to the Eldar Talks Games audio collection because I think we touched on some good points regarding mental health and had a very authentic, engaging conversation. Oh, I was in my boxers for the entirety of this recording and I had just woken up. Not sure that matters, but now you know.

Eldar talks with Blake J. Harris (Console Wars, The History of the Future)

    12/06/2019 Duration: 49min

I was fortunate enough to be joined by the one and only Blake J. Harris, author of Console Wars and The History of the Future. We talked about the writing process, VR games, what got him writing about Sega and Nintendo's battle, and more. Console Wars is easily one of my favorite books, and one I think about regularly. Blake's masterful work at documenting the battle between the two console giants of the late 80's and early 90's is seminal and a joy to read. You can purchase his new book, "History of the Future" on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Books a Million, or anywhere you like to read your favorite books. Console Wars is available literally everywhere, too. You can find me anywhere online at ‘Eldarbasically’, and you can find Blake on Twitter at BlakejharrisNYC or blakejharris.com

Evening! Eldar here. So, I just decided to record a quick little internal thought garbage dump and upload it to the show's RSS feed. Weird, right? It's not super long, but I hope it gives you something to think about. Thanks for listening to the show. Love you!
