You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. On 12 July a capacity crowd filled the Emmanuel Centre, London, for a Holy Ghost Impartation service, celebrating 75 years of David Hathaway’s ministry.  With anointed worship led by Lara Martin and Steve and Velveta Thompson, plus an incredible video performance of My Tribute (To God be the Glory) as recorded by Vinesong for David's 70th anniversary celebration; powerful prayer led by Evangelist Daniel Chand and Tim Vince; and a moving video compilation of David Hathaway’s ministry as filmed over the years; then as David spoke, the Holy Spirit came down in power. Healings – anointing – and a powerful spiritual challenge. The Power of God today is stronger now than even in the days of the Bible – his life is a witness to the ‘greater miracles’ Jesus prophesied.  David says: “All my life I set out to prove who Jesus is, to prove His power, to prove His authority. For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group. On Saturday 5 July we went ahead with our annual prayer for Ukraine - to bring an end to the war - in the October Palace situated in the Government District of Kyiv. The prestigious venue was filled to the rafters, not a spare seat anywhere. But only 30 minutes into the prayer our organiser Vadim was told the air alarm had sounded, two hypersonic missiles were on their way, and he must close the event. If not, if anything happened, Vadim would be criminally accountable. Only by the grace of God, both missiles were intercepted and the prayer continued without a break.

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. They deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. In Kazakhstan we are witnessing a move of God built on the courage, perseverance and faithfulness of men and women who saw the great revival of the 1990s and early 2000s (when communism first collapsed), and who have survived 20 years of persecution since – lies, libels, confiscation of church properties, arrests and court cases. But we all sense, this new move of God will be greater than that first great revival! The leadership told David, “A second wave of revival is coming. It cannot now be stopped. Your renewed investment in ministry here in recent years is a sign for us! Last time you came, we saw a ‘cloud the size of a man’s hand’. Now we know, HEAVY RAIN IS COMING! Like Elijah, we must get up and run with it!”

Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Saviour through your apostles. Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, ‘Where is this “coming” he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.’ But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. (2 Peter 3.1-5)

They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness, (v15): In this passage, Peter is not talking about unbelievers, but those who knew the Truth and have backslidden. As a child, I used to debate with my father the question of ‘once saved, always saved’, this is based on the verse where Jesus said, ‘no man can take us out of God’s Hand’ (John 10:28), but some people deliberately choose to leave the Truth; they follow the way of Balaam, who was supposed to be a prophet of God, but he became corrupt, seeking personal gain over obedience to God.  There is forgiveness for those who genuinely seek it: ‘My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins,’ (James 5:19-20, NIV).

if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) – if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from the Lord. But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish

'There were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them – bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.' (2 Peter 2.1-3, NIV)

 So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things. For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eye-witnesses of his majesty. He received honour and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’ We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain. We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the mor

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is short-sighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1.5-11, NIV)

What we do would be impossible without your support. We are moving into a critical period in the world and this year specifically, will see major unexpected changes, politically and militarily. We need to be alert, prophetic events are moving rapidly.

This year I’m celebrating 75 years in ministry. But I am not stopping. I don’t believe in retiring, but ‘refiring’ – I am always seeking a new Fire from God. We all need a renewed fire, but an ‘old-time’ revival, we need a new power, but the ‘real’ God. Will you be the one whom He will call again, through the fire of the Holy Spirit? Yet God promised in His Word, that He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17) – not just the light showers of the first Pentecost, but the heavy rain that brings in the last abundant harvest of souls (Joel 2:23-24) before the ‘great and terrible day of the Lord shall come’ (Joel 2:31; Acts 2:20).

In May David was back in Poland again to evangelise in the north, in the Gdynia-Gdańsk region on the coast, an area much neglected as a mission field by evangelists. The organisers brought a large number of needy people in by bus. 

We should live as the early Apostles did: preach the Gospel, heal the sick. We are still writing the Acts of the Apostles today. People are distressed; there are earthquakes, changes in weather patterns, and wars; but these were all predicted by Jesus in Matthew 24. I am more concerned about preaching the Gospel and seeing people saved. This year, 2025, I’m celebrating 75 years in ministry. But I am not stopping. In today's episode David begins teaching on the Authority, Truth and Accuracy of the Bible: 'All my life I have believed in the Authority, Truth and Accuracy of the Bible. As a boy I learnt from my father, who was the General Superintendent of the Elim Churches, that 'All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,'' (2 Timothy 3:16-17, KJV).
