AngelConnect is the FREE podcast series that informs the angel investors about the process of funding startups . In this series of interviews, this program has investors share their experiences and advice to those who are considering an investment into startups and growth companies. Your host is Hall T. Martin , the founder of the Texas Open Angel Network, in which he provided an education series for Angels and Entrepreneurs in Texas. Your host is Hall T. Martin, the founder of the Texas Open Angel Network, in which he provided an education series for Angels and Entrepreneurs in Texas. He is also a key part of the Texas Open Angel Network (TOAN), which was founded in 2011. It provides education to angel investors on how to evaluate startups. The education includes how to assess a startup company and identify what it takes for it to succeed. This is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization -- which does not profit from the education, but charges only a nominal fee for the programs that cover the basics of angel investing. Some of the investors will be members of TiE. These interviews will be those captured at the TiECon event, which is the foremost conference for TiE (known as the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs). Some of these noted members of TiE chapters are Subu Kota and Keith Larson -- both of whom will be featured in the first several interviews of this podcast show.
