    22/02/2019 Duration: 31min

  • Dave and Marshall tackle planning, the 4 Ps, and staying engaged

    19/02/2019 Duration: 10min

If you're failing to plan, you're planning to fail. Setting up your schedule and prioritizing what you need to accomplish each and every day is the best way to succeed in this game.  Don't be a discount agent and only do 3 of the 4 Ps when selling a property. Show your value and get after the business by hitting the 4th P as strong as you can.  It's important to stay engaged and provide value in all you do, especially when hosting an Open House. It's the easiest way to generate business and the easiest way to miss out on the business.

  • How to not look like a Rookie on your first deal

    18/02/2019 Duration: 19min

We've all been there and know you want to hurry up and put the offer in a soon as possible to win the deal. You need to slow down and do some research a little before submitting the offer (hopefully before showing the 1-5 houses you're showing them) to understand sold prices and days on market for the home. Make sure you're submitting a great off that isn't asking for too many concessions from the other side. Have an experienced agent ready to help you through the whole contract. Have the contract filled in for some of the main questions and know which documents you need to submit and to whom they are submitted.  Understand your value as an agent and be able to articulate that value to anyone, especially someone asking you to discount your commission at the beginning of the transaction.    If you have questions or need support through your journey, we are here to help you out. • Upgrade your skills and communication with practice

    17/02/2019 Duration: 15min

There are countless ways to stay in communication with your sphere, you only have to pick one and stick with it. Remember the best CRM on the market is the one you use. Consistent communication at high level will sharpen your skills and make you better at your craft.  You have to work on your script and role play ever day of the week (min of 5 days a week) with someone to help you understand how to navigate through objections and conversations.  Ask questions of agents in your area as well as the agent on the other side of the transaction. Find out what's important to their client in order to write up a competitive offer. Remember, everyone wants a great deal to work on and get to the closing table. Don't be the cause of a failing deal.  We're here to answer questions and support you in your journey as a Real Estate agent. Contact us at info@realestateontherocks.com

  • I have my license, now what? Part 2

    17/02/2019 Duration: 17min

You made the choice on a broker who will keep you educated and lead you to a successful career, now it's time to GET TO WORK. You have to stick to the fundamentals and absorb the training available to you, preferably the free training.  Don't be an undercover agent and hit your new career from everyone. Set up your social media accounts to show who you're working for and start sharing content about the industry. Make a call to your sphere to let them know and ask that they send any business your way.  You can have unlimited income potential, or you can have a flexible work schedule. You can NOT have both to start out with. Put in more work than you expected and more than anyone in your office and don't let off the gas once you start getting traction.  Follow up with everyone you come in contact with and enter everyone into your database so you can remain in contact with them. Remember, a saying we've hear for years. Your network is your net worth.  For any questions, contact us at inf
