John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D. is the founder of BioSonic Enterprises, Ltd., a company dedicated to tuning the world. Gail Jackson is a certified Village Music Circles facilitator and accredited through the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild. She is certified in sound healing and therapy through the Globe Institute. Gail won a Rasmuson Foundation Project Award in 2017 to continue to study sound and bring its benefits to her community. She currently offers drum circles, sound baths and meditations in Alaska. This fall she will begin her teacher studies in the practice of mindfulness. Her goal is to bring sound and mindfulness practices to children at risk, underserved communities and adults who are in the prison system. Michael Bettine is a professional percussionist, composer, music educator and writer. In the 1970s, Bettine was immersed in progressive rock, improvisation and discovered a deep fascination with gongs. For almost twenty years now, he has been working not only with gongs but also singing bowls, bells and other resonant metal instruments under the name, Gongtopia. Mike Tamburo is a multi-instrumentalist, music educator, sound and video artist, sound therapist and meditation teacher who has spent his life exploring the power of music. Early in his career, Mike was known for his string instrument playing (hammered dulcimer, guitar and shahi baaja). Mike has explored Kundalini Yoga, energy work, the use of sound therapeutically and the effects of sound on consciousness, perception and self-healing. David Gibson is a leading teacher, researcher, composer and innovator in the field of sound healing and sound therapy. David, founder and director of the Globe Institute in San Francisco, CA, is at the forefront of the field. In addition to sound healing, the institute offers recording and production programs.
