Sunday Night's Main Event

Another four-hour episode of AEW TV this week—but never fear, Ashlee and Shawn are here to break it down for you. Unlike most babyfaces on this episode, they will make the save! We kick things off with one of the most AEW tropes ever: a time-limit draw… without announcing the time during the match! The show opens with Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland—a great match with a dud ending. MJF is always playing with fire. He nearly cost the Hurt Syndicate the victory and had the nerve to ask for a tag when Bob had the match nearly won. Ashlee and Shawn believe next week might be the breaking point for this group—and their newest member. Once again, the women of AEW kicked ass and deserve tag team titles to battle for! Ashlee and Shawn are recovering from AEW's version of the Fyre Festival this week! Like that doom event from 2005, this episode of Dynamite and Collision suffered from poor planning and bad match placements.   Yes, Tony, we know, we know, that Okada vs Omega title for title at AEW All IN Texas is a big match, but we don't need you to announcment to make the announcement about a match that most likely would happen very soon!   We are 36 days away from AEW All In Texas, and this feels like a filler episode, but it was able to advance the storylines!

Greg is back this week after being medically cleared since last week’s show. After spending last Friday Night in a local medical facility (true story), both SmackDaddies are back this week to review this week’s show.   We start with Bianca Belair, and Greg is looking for a drink already. Then, in what Greg feels is a post-narcotic inspired haze gets a Naomi, Jade Cargill and Nia Jax in a match.   We got R-Truth in the back with Solo Sikoa’s “husky son” Jeff Cobb Mateo, leading to a match between JC and Ron Truth.   SmackDown’s plethora of Tag Teams show up and with no Teddy Long in sight a fight broke out with no match.   We then got  Los Garza taking on Je'Von Evans & Rey Fenix. I’m still not sure why besides to have Ethan Page be there.   Zelina Vega takes on Alba Fyre where Brad questions as to what two reasons she’s the US Champion.    In our Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat, Brad and Greg are rocking and sobbing in the corner while we get match 800 of  Andrade and Carmelo Hayes…. So you are telling us you missed AEW Double or Nothing 2025? Never threaten, your bang bang gang is here to review what they call the second-best AEW PPV of All Time!   Ashlee and Shawn open this week's episode of the Dynamite Drop by reviewing AEW's latest PPV, while they agree with about 90 percent of the show, Shawn has had his fill of the Anarchy in the Arena match. Please make the music stop!   They agree that the Open and Closing Matches of the show are in the running for match of the year. It's Ashlee and Shawn's birthday week, so they are ready to hug people, just not Bob!   They open this week's show discussing Mr. Jim Ross's Cancer announcement and wish him a speedy recovery.    They pay their respects to Sabu, who passed away this past week.    Ashlee and Shawn are pleased that Hangman and Ospreay could coexist; now, they want them to stay a tag team!   Once again, Hurt Syndicate and MJF steal the show, and finally, MJF gets Bob's approval! Ashlee and Shawn are worried that this new pairing won't become Facebook official, due to MJF hugging Bob.
