Merging Nadia's practice as a painter and Laila's use of food as a medium to create unique convivial experiences around the world, the duo conceived the concept in 2020 with the intention of bringing magic to everyday moments. Gohar World is a tableware universe which celebrates time, tradition, craft, and humor. Latanya is the President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, an organization that has been funding gender justice movements for over 30 years, including initiatives that have engaged Aweqawe and Lujain.
