In the world of paid work, we can calculate the value of an employee by working out how much money they help the business generate. It sounds cold, but generally, that's the point of being in business - to make money. How do you place a figure on someone who serves for nothing? How are we able to perceive value in what we do for free?

Mark Kelly opens up the how, why, and what for concerning baptism in the Holy Spirit.

God has given us a comfort that is greater than anything culture, other religions, or our own preferences and desires can provide.

The Church is made up of people we might not always get along with or even agree with - but that's something God can use. Despite our differences, the Holy Spirit unites us and works in our hearts and communities for our good and for His glory!

We should expect uncomfortableness because the crucifixion and what Jesus did on the cross is at the very centre of our faith. We should look to Jesus as an example of how to deny ourselves and take up our crosses, for it is in His work that we find true comfort.

Rather than attempting to find our dream church, we should embrace the uncomfortable and difficult parts of the Christian life – a life that by default means we are connected to people, and people can be awkward, and in some cases downright peculiar!
