It seems I must kick you in order to awaken you. But know, kicking is not my first choice. If you will take time to listen to me softly, gently, consistently then big interruptions will not be necessary. If you will see the storm on the horizon and alter your course early, there will be no need to weather the storm. If you will apply what you already know, you will save yourself so much heartache. (1) I am encouraging you to follow what you already know, for though it is small, it is good. It will serve you and preserve you. It will keep you, if you will follow it. I have given you my son, I have given you my word, I have given you my spirit. I have given you so much, and still you do not follow; still you do not obey. Remember the gentle path you desire is available to you, but it will not look like the path you currently hold in your mind's eye – the path of luxury, glamour, and ease. If you will quiet the noise within your mind, you will hear me. If you will make time to seek me, you will find me. If you will cast your vision on to me, you will see me. My heart desires to reveal myself to you, my Little Ones. I desire to show myself to you, to make myself real to you, and to be involved with you day after day. (1) Even though you feel alone at times, you feel as though I am uninvolved, you feel as though I have forgotten you, know I am not far from you. While you desire this as well, there is still a bit of adjustment needed within you, for in many ways you are still double-minded. It is my desire to adjust your paradigm and focus. I desire to reset your priorities and innovate your behavior. There is still reluctance within you, and it is my good pleasure to liberate you from its encumbrance. (1) As you reset your priorities you will see new desires awaken. You will begin to crave spiritual things you have not known in the past. You will desire to be filled, and you will become incredibly curious. As you focus on me, your new desires will overtake you. The things that used to occupy your time, mind, and heart will lose all of their appeal. You will become bored with them, for your interest and appetites will change. So know, my Dear Children, I am working to set you up to succeed, finish, and accomplish. I am setting you up to win all the prizes put before you. I am working with you, not against you. I am training you, preparing you through all these circumstances. (1) While you may not understand it, or like it, you can trust me. I am the Good Shepherd that watches over you even while you sleep. I am the Good Shepherd who has your very best interest in mind, and I am faithful. I am reliable and competent. Nothing, and no one ever escapes my sight or knowledge. So let go of your dislikes and offenses. (2) Let go of your stress and worry. Let go of all the questions stealing your peace, and simply accept my plans for you. In the right time, all this will make sense and you will see the glory, beauty, and wisdom of all the plans I have worked on your behalf.

During the lean times you will certainly experience I will forge greater endurance within you. I will help you remain strong when you want to give up. I will help you look to the vision I have set before you and to continue to persevere despite difficulties. I know this is hard. This is a time and season of eliminating what is unnecessary. While you may feel this is punishment, know this is preparation.
