Can you believe we're already halfway through the season? Neither can we! Giving the mentors yet more tough decisions this week are soprano Ursula Searle performing Bernstein and Mozart, and pianist Hannah Shin performing Granados' 'Love and Death' Ballad. For this episode our regular mentor Markiyan Melnychenko is joined pianist Stewart Kelly, providing helpful feedback for our young artists.

This week we have Flautist Philipp Eversheim performing the works of Karg-Elert and Dutilleux, as well as pianist Zhihan Jiang playing Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brilliante. Joing us on the panel are guest mentor and Arcadia Winds flautist Kiran Phatak and season mentor violinist Markiyan Melnychenko. We're off to a flying start with Episode 2 of The Talent 2018 - Both Adam and Edward smashed out some incredible performances including an Oboe Sonata by the one and only Camille Saint-Saens as well as Mike Mower's brilliant Sonata for Piccolo. Providing their comments and ideas from the other side of the soundproofed glass are guest mentor and oboist Stephen Robinson, and this season's resident mentor and violinist Markiyan Melnychenko.

Welcome back to The Talent 2018! In our season debut we have some incredible performances from violist Molly Collier O'Boyle and violinist Willard Zhong. From an origial composition for viola by Molly to Brahms' popular violin sonata, our mentors Markiyan Melnychenko and Simon Oswell have their work cut out for them this season.
