Mt. Carmel, Care & Share, and Feed America are taking care of our troops and their food insecurities. Where is Congressman Lamborn? Better yet, Where is YOUR congressman? Nowhere to be found. Is cheap money exacerbating the housing  problem for our Junior Enlisted and their families? What politicians are looking for solutions and delivering on them?  Could a pay raise for Veterans and Retirees spawn investments in other areas and industries? 

Is refusing a direct order affect the readiness of a military unit? Does military readiness take precedence? Medical readiness? Could those objectors fall under a certain political philosophy that is NOT compatible with a military organization? Are local churches connected to Militia groups? Armchair constitutionalists. Are these people who cannot see the future and want to live some fantasy thinking that things will be ok with a oligarch/theological leadership? Can you name a country that has survived under an oligarch/theological leadership that benefited its people?

With the passage of the PACT legislation, VA benefits are expanded to include Viet Nam Veterans. No waiting another 50 years. Are policies preventing studies that will improve healthcare for Veterans and retirees? Is the VA healthcare system an early warning system for society at large? AKA "The Canary in the Coalmine." The Space force is discussed looking at the financial impact to Colorado Springs. Will the impact be monetary or psychological if it stays or goes? We couldn't help ourselves. We put Congressman Lamborn in our sites and it wasn't pretty. He continues voting against the troops and, would you believe it, children. 

Is Putin now a political liability? Why did he invade Ukraine? Has his "Friendship Policy" with China worked out? The Russian military appears to be outmoded and obsolete. With China's economic ties to Taiwan, will they proceed cautiously? Is it necessary to win the political objective or only the war? Does the U.S. and the rest of the world need to re-think a different way of dealing with Russia? 

We've lost the veterans from the "Greatest Generation" in Congress who have served as guides into the late 20th century. Isn't it time we replaced them with veterans from the current generation. Should veterans run for political office at the local, county, state, and federal levels? Will they bring what is really needed to our political establishments: Leadership? Do the current crop of politicians really represent their constituents or are they worried about their next election and their moneyed donors with their siloed mentality? Do political strategists really bring anything to the table for the candidates they support?  What is the most trusted government organization? What does the military teach us?
