Synopsis: After Joseph was unfairly imprisoned, he served in prison without forgetting the God who was with him. After Joseph was sold as a slave, he was a successful and prosperous slave in Potiphar's house because the LORD was with him. He was harassed and tempted by Potiphar's wife, yet Joseph refused to do great wickedness before God. God caused Jacob and Esau to have a joyful reunion by His grace. After they parted ways, Esau returned to Seir and Jacob led his family, flocks and herds softly. Jacob learned to trust and follow God's leading and offered sacrifices to His God, the God of Israel who deals graciously with us.

Synopsis: God has revealed Himself through His Word, and through the person of Jesus Christ, so we can know and follow Him. God has revealed in Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church that we are blessed with ‘every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places’ because we are ‘in Christ’. However, we may not realise the significance of these blessings and we can live our lives as if we’re spiritually poor when we’re actually spiritually rich beyond measure.
