Steve Moses joins Merlin Rothfeld for an options filled show in the peak of earnings season. Steve touches on some of the uses of options to help determine what the market perception is going forward. While not necessarily looking at Put/Call ratio, there are other items which offer a clearer picture. The duo also look at the recent earnings of Apple and Netflix, ultimately focusing on Netflix for a potential Long trade based off of some historic lows. Merlin also answers a listener question about how to add Data to the trend tool within TradeStation.

Bert Antonik joins Merlin Rothfeld for a show filled with Global Currencies and Gold! Bert starts off with is thoughts on the euro (his last call in April was “euro @ 1.22”), offering new targets for the tanking currency. Gold has become increasingly in demand by Central Banks around the world, but is their timing off? Charts done lie! Bert and Merlin look at a couple charts to support the Central Banks “mistiming” on gold, and offer insight to where gold may be headed. To round out the show, the duo run through a bunch of currency charts plotting out the next supply and Demand levels where price will most likely turn.  

Since the late 1990’s, Roger Best has been making hundreds of trades per week based off of what he was seeing in the Level 2 screen and short term chart time frames. Merlin Rothfeld gets Roger to break down some of the realities and misconceptions about using Market Depth to help make trades.
