Episode #312: The Mask and the Shadow
31/01/2019 Duration: 07minOn a recent flight from Melbourne en route to Bangkok for the Innov8rs Conference, I was reading author Robert Greene’s new magnum opus, Laws of Human Nature. I had the honor of speaking with Greene on my podcast Future Squared recently and was struck by something he said during our conversation about the notion of masks and shadows. Greene says that each of us wears a mask in order to gain social acceptance. This mask hides our dark side, or, our shadow, which can be a true but suppressed representation of our personalities. --- Patreon: www.patreon.com/thesteveglaveski Employee to Entrepreneur book: www.employeetoentrepreneur.io Listen to Future Squared on Apple Podcasts @ goo.gl/sMnEa0 Also available on: Spotify, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, Stitcher and Soundcloud Twitter: www.twitter.com/steveglaveski Instagram: www.instagram.com/@thesteveglaveski Future Squared: www.futuresquared.xyz Steve Glaveski: www.steveglaveski.com Medium: www.medium.com/@steveglaveski &n

Episode #309: Whatever It Takes
17/01/2019 Duration: 06minSometimes in entrepreneurship, in innovation, and in life, you have to do whatever it takes. Episode #307: Fireside Chat with Steve Glaveski and Shay Namdarian
10/01/2019 Duration: 36minI’ve had a crazy whirlwind week this week with my book, Employee to Entrepreneur: How to Earn Your Freedom and Do Work That Matters, finally dropping, having done book launched events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, an additional 12 podcast interviews and shortly, I’ll be catching a flight to San Francisco for the US leg of my book tour. Speaking of podcasts, I’ve appeared on quite a few in recent weeks, including Mixergy’s Startup Stories, Becoming Superhuman, No Ego, Productivityist and What You Will Learn. You can find those episodes wherever you get your podcasts and in the show notes to this episode. The book has officially sold out on Amazon, literally less than 24 hours after going on sale, which I will try and take as a good thing. However you can still order your copy online and find it at your local bookstore - and if they haven’t got it in stock, ask them to order it in. Of course, there are many ways you can support the launch, all of which are outlined over at employeetoentrepreneur.io/support

Episode #306: All Great Things Start From Small Beginnings
03/01/2019 Duration: 04minToday, as we embark upon a new year, I thought it would make sense to channel Cicero, Roman statesman, orator, lawyer and philosopher, who said that “all great things start from small beginnings”. Whatever you’re looking to achieve this year, realise that they all start with small steps, so set yourself small, manageable goals, that it is almost impossible to fail at, and go from there. --- Employee to Entrepreneur podcast on Apple Podcasts: bit.ly/employeetoentrepreneurpodcast Listen to Future Squared on Apple Podcasts @ goo.gl/sMnEa0 Also available on: Spotify, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, Stitcher and Soundcloud Twitter: www.twitter.com/steveglaveski Instagram: www.instagram.com/@thesteveglaveski Future Squared: www.futuresquared.xyz Steve Glaveski: www.steveglaveski.com Medium: www.medium.com/@steveglaveski NEW Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/futuresquared/ GET COACHED BY LUCAS: https://www.ergogenic.health/product/coaching GET LUCAS TO DESIGN Y

Bonus Episode: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants with Adam Jones and Adam Ashton
02/01/2019 Duration: 01h04minAdam Ashton and Adam Jones met as two young blokes while attending Monash University, studying commerce and structural engineering respectively. Both were keen on making the most of their advantaged access to education as Australian citizens, ready to start their first job in the big city. They looked to books to answer some big questions such as ‘how do I make the most of my life?’ and ‘how do I get people to like me in the office?’. They found more than they bargained for. Since June 2016, they’ve committed to reading and reviewing a new book each week, hosting the What You Will Learn podcast, that has seen them interview everyone from Scott Adams and Dan Pink to Robert Cialdini and Annie Duke. I enjoyed catching up with the guys on the 2nd of January, as we dusted off the cognitive cobwebs of the holidays and settled in for an hour long discussion on all things life-changing books, mindset and philosophy. With that, strap yourselves in for a conversation with the hosts of What You Will Learn, Adam Jo

Episode #304: Robert Greene on the Laws of Human Nature
21/12/2018 Duration: 01h09minThis man needs no introduction but I’m going to give him one anyway. Robert Greene is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War, The 50th Law and Mastery. His highly anticipated sixth book, The Laws of Human Nature, explores people's drives and motivations, even when they are unconscious of them themselves. Knowing why people do what they do is the most important tool we can possess, without which our other talents can only take us so far. Having read hundreds of business books myself, perhaps the books that have had the most profound positive impact on how I show up each day and how I conduct myself are books on psychology, behavioural economics, neuroscience and biological evolution. Books that ultimately helped me to understand myself and understand others. As such, I was really excited to read the Laws of Nature and speak with Greene about what is such a fundamental topic. In addition to having a strong following

Episode #303: Beware of False Purposes
21/12/2018 Duration: 07minAccording to Robert Greene, real purpose leads us upward, to a more human level. False purposes lead downward, to the animal side of our nature—to addictions, loss of mental powers, mindless conformity, and cynicism. In this installment of Fast Fix Friday, we explore false purposes and why you should beware of it, both in yourself and in others. --- --- Employee to Entrepreneur podcast on Apple Podcasts: bit.ly/employeetoentrepreneurpodcast Listen to Future Squared on Apple Podcasts @ goo.gl/sMnEa0 Also available on: Spotify, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, Stitcher and Soundcloud Twitter: www.twitter.com/steveglaveski Instagram: www.instagram.com/@thesteveglaveski Future Squared: www.futuresquared.xyz Steve Glaveski: www.steveglaveski.com Medium: www.medium.com/@steveglaveski NEW Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/futuresquared/ GET COACHED BY LUCAS: https://ww
