Drunk On Lettering

This week we chatted with one of the farthest guests we've ever talked to, Sabeena Karnik!! She's all the way in Mumbai, India and she makes the most amazing paper letters! She's worked with amazing companies like Ulta and Google! We got to know a little bit about her process, working for herself, life in India, and more! We love her, you will too! She's the sweetest human!

This weeks episode goes off the rails a little bit! If you don't already know his work, Chris is known for his hilarious daily drawings and unique illustration work. He's really developed his own style and isn't afraid to get political! He's a big goof balls so we messed with him a little bit! He's very informative about his process and freelance work, and is super funny along the way!

This week we chat with the amazing, sign painting Heather Hardison! She chatted with us from the Bay Area over beers and we learned all about how she got into the world of sign painting. She told us all about how she got her start drawing dead bugs, working for New Bohemia signs, and being on call for lettering at Facebook. We got to chat with our roommate from Creative South this week, Miss Nhi Nguyen! Nhi is a crazy gal from Baton Rouge and we loved having the opportunity to record all of her dirty little lettering secrets. If we had to pick one word to describe this podcast it would be...PYTHONS! Ken Ken talked to us all the way from Austin (and yes we has a beard)! He's a super well rounded designer/letterer so we were really shocked to hear that he HATES drawing, even though he's amazing at it!
