Australian cricketer Meg Lanning stopped by ahead of a busy weekend of women’s cricket. She spoke about optional training, what she would do if she didn’t become a cricket player and what changes are being made in the cricket world for women.  NNS mate Mitch Norton called in, he’s currently on a plane to Brisbane! The Wildcats take on the Brisbane Bullets tomorrow night and then jet off to New Zealand to play there. Josh Kennedy stopped by and made Quoit Racket Stool Hole history – the most important part of the morning (naturally!). He was actually here to talk about the MSWA Ocean Ride which takes place on Sunday 24th November. NNS favourites Judy and Therese from The Amazing Race called in. They sadly got kicked off the show last night after nurses Femi and Nick overtook them. They got beaten by a matter of seconds and wished they had put their boxing gloves on earlier!  And Josh Delvaney from Perth has the world’s biggest Michael Jordan toy collection! Jesse and Mel from The Block called in after Sunday night’s explosive episode. The pair from Victoria were beaten by half a point by rival contestants Mitch and Mark and were not happy about it. NNS had a bone to pick with the Premier Mark McGowan. In today’s paper, cricket legend Adam Gilchrist is heading to India in a bid to attract tourists to Australia and the Premier is helping him out with it! The guys were enraged. And newsreader Ellie’s car has been broken for nearly a month and when she finally took it to a mechanic to get fixed he realised a cable had come off the battery resulting in the car not starting – woops! NNS heard from tradies who had been called out to help solve basic fixes. Sunrise presenter David Koch stopped by after a busy weekend at Telethon. He is still in shock with the record-breaking amount of money raised. He gave NNS the rundown on his daily routine and his delicious breakfast choice every morning! Former rugby league footballer and TV star Beau Ryan called in this morning as he hosts The Amazing Race Australia. He said he wasn’t prepared at all for the amount of waiting around he had to do but loved every second of the journey. And Nat’s friend at Telethon was running so quickly to deliver a large cheque, she tripped and fell bruising her chin. The weather man stopped by and that’s the one and only Sam Mac. He’s here for Telethon this weekend and is debuting his latest kid’s song with the Wiggles! The guy who appeared on the Bachelorette and somehow made it to the top 10 even though he was hardly on the show came in studio and that’s Glenn Smith. Originally from Perth Glenn is still looking for love. And Harley Bennell has been told he has two extra muscles behind his knee. The guys heard from people who have too much of something. For the first time in Nova history, the guys spoke to Kyle Sandilands! He has a new show which airs tonight on Channel 10 and it sounds brilliant. He also told the guys about his really expensive car and how he once had a butler. The war has begun between Greg Hire and Mitch Norton’s dog Ralph. The guys encouraged listeners to follow the Wildcats Groodle Ralph on Instagram while unfollowing Greg at the same time. Mitch is also looking a lot younger after a fresh trim! And a lady watched a video on the internet on how to clean her oven, once she finished she had to put the oven back together but it unfortunately shattered in to a million pieces. Comedian Josh Thomas called in to talk to NNS about his upcoming national tour. He thought the perfect name for the tour is ‘Whoopsie Daisy’ which is here on the 22nd November. You can get a photo with Knickers the cow for only a dollar. NNS heard from people who had spent big bucks on getting a photo with something or someone. Aaron paid a heap of money to get a photo with Stan Lee, Peter had some trouble overseas and Kathy spent a heap of cash on a Dockers player.  And Nathan’s neighbour Matt is a local hero – in his eyes anyway! Reporter from The West Steve Butler is back from his holidays and of course spoke to the guys about all things sport and how he saw a whole lot of ‘pussywillows’ up North. A man in Perth has had a bike stolen from his shop after the offender left a mobile phone and head phones as collateral. When he didn’t come back, the owner called police and they said there wasn’t much they could do because he had accepted the items. Jess left her car behind at the petrol station, Jenny left two of her kids behind and Mario was left with an unusual item after a couple couldn’t pay for their fuel. Our favourite advice guru Maggie Dent stopped by to celebrate a whole year since the release of her book ‘Mothering our boys’! To celebrate the milestone Maggie spoke to Brooke and Georgina who had some questions about their young kids. Marty Sheargold AKA Shiggsy called in and he is back and bigger than ever. He heads over to Perth next month for his live stand up show at the Regal Theatre followed by a second show next year. And you heard it here first – Cody Simpson, the winner of The Masked Singer and the guy who is allegedly dating the one and only Miley Cyrus called in and gave the low down on his current relationship! The beautiful Jess Mauboy called in to talk to NNS about her new album released today – it’s called Hilda, which is the name of Jess’s beloved grandma. She gave the low down on her amazing proposal, her career in the early days and how she is definitely NOT on the Masked Singer.  Mr Cricket – AKA Mike Hussay called in and spoke to NNS as today marks one year until the men’s T20 World Cup tournament starts in Perth as well as five female matches being played at the WACA next February at Perth Stadium. And a family in the Netherlands were trapped for years due to a doomsday fears, thankfully a guy escaped and went straight to the pub for 5 years. NNS spoke to people who needed a beer after a serious ordeal. The guys got to speak to Wildcat Mitch Norton’s mum this morning – Anita! She’s currently holidaying in Perth and is absolutely loving it. The basketball legend will play the Cairns Taipans tomorrow and told NNS about this week’s hectic training schedule.  An 11yo girl has turned green – literally! She was at home making a bath bomb and the colour ended up coming off and going all over her. NNS heard from people who looked strange for a couple of days. Kaci had a fish net stocking sun burn, Holly had a yellow tooth and Jack had funny looking legs.  And apparently, there’s a Kylie Jenner, Brad Pitt and James Bond all living in Perth – sadly not the real ones! NNS spoke to people who are constantly having issues with their names. TV royalty Rick Ardon and Susanna Carr stopped by as Channel 7th celebrates its 60th birthday! The duo have been on our TV screens for nearly 35 years and they don’t plan on quitting anytime soon. They told NNS about the days without an auto cue and some of their favourite news stories they’ve covered! The big Matthew Pavlich stopped by and chatted about the AFL trade period which is coming up soon and a charity he is working with to engage and empower young people to be mental health heroes in the community. And newsreader Ellie was brought to tears yesterday after a police officer pretended to tell her off for stealing NNS’s quoit. The guys wanted to hear from people who were brought to tears by something or someone. Brock couldn’t stop crying when he gave his daughter a white bird for her birthday, Derek cries over anything Christmas related and Emma cried all the way to Mandurah after she killed a butterfly when she was driving.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Remy Hii called in for a chat with NNS this morning, you may know him from Crazy Rich Asians and even earlier in his career Neighbours but this time he’s landed a role in the latest Spider Man movie, Far from home – already out in cinemas! He’s been having a lot of fun in Europe but is heading home to film more Crazy Rich Asians. Sporting legend Alicia Molik called in ahead of the ATP cup. The Perth girl took the tennis world by storm reaching 8th place in the singles, winning a bronze medal for Australia. Her life has changed slightly with two young children she told NNS what life is like now.  And Mitch Marsh is hot water after he punched a wall causing his hand to break after a poor performance yesterday. NNS’s road trip to Collie took a turn for the worse when the van got broken into and producer Claire’s bag got stolen. The thieves took her favourite lip gloss and a phone charger but left a $500 voucher behind. The guys heard from Trish whose home was broken in to a while ago and the thieves took half a kilo of chicken and some ice cream and Steve was left devastated after his cleaning cloth was taken from the back of his ute. A cruise ship has become the largest vessel to sail through the Corinth Canal in Greece. It was so close the guests could touch the sides of the cliff as they went past. Jo was lucky to enough to hold Winston Churchill’s original speech, Robbie touched part of a 1966 space ship and Jenny and Billy Joel bonded over shoe laces! A South Australian public servant has been sacked after he allegedly peed in the work kettle. The guys wanted to hear from people who have ‘that’ person at work. A guy at Tahlia’s work crashed in to the brick wall outside of their workplace, Patrick pulled a great prank on his colleagues and Tanya’s work place had a big toilet problem. And Nath and Shaun crossed live to Hong Kong to speak to Drew Morton who is a local living amongst the protests. It’s all happening tomorrow night when the latest Bachelorette Angie Kent begins her journey to find love. She spoke to NNS this morning and filled them in with all the latest details for the series ahead. A young boy in Queensland received the fright of his life after a massive Groper leapt out of the water and tried to grab him while he was fishing with his family. NNS heard from people who had been grabbed. Mark had a similar experience with a cuttle fish and Claire had a battle with a shredding machine at work. And yesterday NNS spoke to Rebecca who told them about her very unusual first date. The guys heard from people who had very bad first dates. The show everyone has been waiting for is on tonight and that is Love Island Australia – NNS thought there would be no better way to celebrate than speaking to the angel herself, Sophie Monk. She stopped by and gave all the low down on the new series.  A man working in the Pilbara was badly burnt after his work shirt got hot in the sun. The guys heard from people who had issues with their work uniforms. Anna had a highly flammable pair of work pants and Chandler had to wear a very uncomfortable dress to work.  And Shaun saw a couple of kids struggling after they decided to take on the rapids in their canoe. They capsized a short while later and needed help. NNS spoke to people who gave it a go and very quickly realised it wasn’t a good idea.
