A special edition of the Spanish Jazz radio show "Club de Jazz" where we conducted an interview with Marshall Gilkes. Marshall Gilkes was born September 30th, 1978 in Camp Springs, Maryland. Now he lives in Brooklyn, New York. Gilkes has three releases as quartet/quintet leader: "Edenderry" (2004), "Lost Words" (2008), and "Sound Stories" (2012); and "Köln" (2015) along with the WDR Big Band. Joe Morris (New Haven, 1955) is one of the most innovative guitar players in improvised music history. Mary Halvorson (Boston, 1980), who studied with Morris and Anthony Braxton, among others, is one of the most creative guitar players of the New York scene. Nowadays they are part of Plymouth, a band where they play along with Jamie Saft (keyboards), Chris Ligthcap (electric bass) and Gerald Cleaver (drums). He moved to New York City in 1997, where he began developing his own music. Joachim Kühn (Leipzig, 1944) is one of the most creative and passionated piano players.
