We tell the stories of the victims, the facts surrounding the cases, and look at all possible suspects. We don't take ourselves too seriously but we take true crime very seriously.

Sonny Liston

But, Liston had grown up hard and had turned to crime early on to make money. During his boxing days, he continued some of his criminal activities and had a number of mob connections. Most heavyweight boxing champions are revered, but, because of his criminal activities and connections, Liston was not. And it was these connections, and Liston's actions in his dealings with the mob, that have led many to speculate he was murdered. Shawny Lee Smith and Jamie Christopher Kamai
29/03/2020 Duration: 53minIn this episode, we're discussing two unsolved murders that occurred near Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 2003, 32-year-old Cheyenne resident Shawny Lee Smith was found brutally murdered by a rancher just over the state line in Colorado. Police began investigating reports of rough characters that may have been involved in the drug trade. Also, the trailer park where Shawny lived was known to be home to a number of individuals who had a criminal past. In 2001, Jamie Christopher Kamai was murdered while taking his daughter and his fiance's son to the babysitter. This appeared to police to be a murder that resulted from some type of road rage incident. There were a number of witnesses, including a small boy in the car, that witnessed a man in a truck who is thought to be Jamie's killer. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss these two Cheyenne unsolved murders. A new detective is now working both cases and has taken a number of novel approaches to solving the crimes. Sarah Fox

The Richardson Family Murders
15/03/2020 Duration: 01h01minIn 1967, James and Annie Mae Richardson were trying to make it in Arcadia, Florida. They both worked in an orange grove and had seven children whose ages ranged from two to eight. On Oct 25th, 1967, the unthinkable happened when all seven of the Richardson children became violently ill and were rushed to the hospital. Six of the children died that day and the seventh died the following day. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the heartbreaking case of the murders of the Richardson children. The police focused very quickly on the father James after finding some incriminating evidence at the family apartment. It didn't take a jury long to find James guilty in the murders of his children. It would take many years to uncover the truth, that the entire justice system conspired to convict James Richardson so that they could close the case quickly. Crystallyn Girard

Jill Behrman
17/02/2020 Duration: 01h11min19-year-old Jill Behrman was a bright and ambitious college student at Indiana University in Bloomington when she went missing in 2000. Her partial remains were later found in 2003 by a hunter. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the puzzling disappearance and murder of Jill Behrman. There were confessions over the years in Jill's case, all of which were later recanted. But one man, John Myers, had made a number of suspicious statements over the years. Police charged him with Jill's murder in 2006 and a jury ultimately convicted him for the murder. His conviction was later overturned and the state is currently appealing that decision and will wait to see whether they will retry Myers. Martha Moxley

This case drew national attention due to the fact that the Moxley's lived across the street from the Skakel family who had ties to the Kennedy clan. Michael Skakel, who was 15-years-old at the time of Martha's murder, was eventually arrested, charged and tried with the murder. Evelyn Hernandez

Evelyn's torso was later found floating in the San Francisco Bay but Alex has never been found. Evelyn's case has drawn many comparisons to the murder case of Laci Peterson because of the similar location and timeframe. The police and volunteers began a massive search for Zachary and they found a number of witnesses who saw the young boy that morning. The case heats up for investigators when they learn about a despicable man named Nathaniel Benjamin Levi Bar-Jonah. Ep146 - The I70 Killer
13/01/2020 Duration: 01h03minIn 1992, six murders occurred just off Interstate 70 in the states of Indiana, Kansas, and Missouri. At first, these appeared to be random on-off murders. They were committed many miles apart from each other and each law enforcement agency was unaware of the others. Eventually, they were linked through the use of ballistics. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss these baffling murders committed on the long stretch of roadway known as Interstate 70. The killer had a very distinctive MO. He picked smaller shops where most likely only one employee would be working, and most often that one employee would be a woman. He used a .22 gun to commit the murders and didn't always take all of the cash in the store. Many people believe that the killer moved on to Texas to commit similar murders there. The investigation into her disappearance did not start right away, something that her family worked hard to change through years of legislative changes. The body could not be identified and became known as Bossier Doe. Investigators put out her age range as between 16 and 20-year-old. They put out what she was wearing and other identifying features. Carol Ann was originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, but had found her way to Louisiana. Authorities never gave up on Bossier Doe and it took both incredible skill and luck to finally identify her. Ep140 - Arpana Jinaga

She had a great job as a software engineer and was going to school to get her graduate degree. She was driven and volunteered her time at numerous organizations. On Halloween night in 2008, Arpana's apartment complex had a party where residents went from unit to unit celebrating throughout the night. Sometime early the next morning, Arpana was brutally murdered and sexually assaulted in her apartment. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the circumstances surrounding Arpana Jinaga's death. The crime scene was bizarre. Her killer or killers had attempted to wipe away traces of DNA with different types of chemicals. But, they were unsuccessful and it was DNA that led police to two men who they believed played a role in Arpana's death. Ep139 - The Austin Ax Murders
18/11/2019 Duration: 01h10minFrom December 1884 to December 1885, an unknown killer terrorized the town of Austin, Texas. This person murdered 8 people and injured many more. The killer started out targeting African-American women who worked as servants in affluent Austin homes. For this reason, you will often see this case referred to as The Servant Girl Annihilator case, a term penned by an author back in the 1880s. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the Austin Ax Murders. The crimes committed by this perpetrator were horrific. Many of these women were dragged out of the home in the middle of the night and murdered with an ax. The killer left behind a signature or calling card in many of the murders. But questions abound in this case that may lead to clues about the killer. Why did the killers select the victims he did? Was it because he had some type of intimate knowledge of the homes that these servants lived/worked in? This case is also intriguing for the fact that many people have tried to tie this case in with Jack The Ripper. C
