Jack Hershfield, one of our very own founders dives deep into his story. He takes us on a verbal journey that begins in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Sports has always been a very big part in his life, but he realized early on that his contribution to the sports world would come from behind the scenes rather than on the court or field. Jack has grown from his time here at UCF, learning the values of hard work and believing in one’s self to accomplish goals. As Jack prepares to begin an internship and Study abroad in Milan, Italy, he and co-founder Jovan Dinnall introduce the newest member of the Deep in The Knight Crew, Jeffrey Dorcely as host. We had Karina Twedt in the studio this week and dove deep into her life. Karina, who was born in Tampa, has an interesting perspective on life being that she was adopted by a Caucasian family from Minnesota at the age of four. This perspective allowed her to explore her interests to find out who she really was. The way she challenges herself to overcome her social awkwardness is nothing short of an inspiration. Known as Whiplash, Justin Wilson, is quite the eSports player. Yet, his involvement in eSports doesn't stop there. He moved to South Korea for a couple of years to be an American commentator! His Korean experience has influenced how he lives even now that he is back at UCF. Oh-- and don't forget he spent a year in Canada playing professional poker. Singer and songwriter Brannon Cloy steps in the studio to open up. He tells us about his interest in music and how he writes his songs. You can probably find Seher Vatansever in the gym! She goes in depth about her introduction to gym and how it's become her home away from home at UCF. She is looking to gain strength and she also teaches several cycling classes. We learn about her life prior to coming to UCF and how she went from New Jersey to Turkey to Florida. Recently accepted into a graduate program, Seher is passionate about her future career in physical therapy. Dwight Stewart II comes on the show to talk about the candles he makes and why they're different from other candles you might be purchasing. Terrance Blands Jr., better known as DJ Jigg, sits with us and chats about his start in being a DJ and how he came up with the name.
