  • Episode #95: Jingle All the Way / Best Arnie Quotes

    17/12/2018 Duration: 01h22min

This week on the show, we talked about childhood fave for many of our generation, Jingle All the Way. Opinions were understandably mixed - after all, it's an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie about a father's struggle to buy a toy for his son at Christmas.   In part 2, we ended up with our first question of the week in quite a while that was a little light on the ground, with best Arnie quotes. Here's hoping next week will yield a lot more that we can talk about!   Keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels for next episode's movie as well as the next question of the week.    The video for this weeks episode will be available shortly at our YouTube channel, here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzXEw9zvbBwA3Di70JljhXw    You can visit Ken's vlog channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/KayKayVlogs   Let us know your thoughts via the usual contact channels below. 04/12/2018 Duration: 01h40min

    11/11/2018 Duration: 01h34min

On the show this week, we closed off our horror block with John Carpenter's quite frankly disappointing "They Live".    In part 2, we talked about Halloween traditions. • Episode #89: Scream / Best & Worst Cliches in Horror

    15/10/2018 Duration: 01h35min

This week on the show, we took on Wes Craven's classic 1996 slasher, "Scream." Some questionable dialogue and acting aside, it's fair to say that the movie has very much stood the test of time, in spite of the many parodies and imitations that followed.    In part 2, our question of the week was on best and worst horror cliches. • Episode #88: Dragnet / Best Tom Hanks Roles

    08/10/2018 Duration: 01h29min

This week, we visited another childhood favourite, this time from Mick, with 1987's Dragnet. Opinions were mixed on the flick, with the general consensus being that which the jokes were great and plentiful, the film struggles to hold itself up as a cohesive whole.    In part 2, we discussed best Tom Hanks roles - sorry guys, there are no worst! • Episode #87: Short Circuit / Best & Worst Robots in Movies and T.V.

    01/10/2018 Duration: 01h37min

This week, we took the risky move of revisiting a childhood favourite for many of our generation with 1986's Short Circuit. The movie was lauded and torn to shreds in equal measure.   In part 2, we talked about best and worst robots in film and T.V. with C-3PO from Star Wars also receiving love and bile in a similarly divided fashion. • Episode #86: Blade Runner 2049 / Best & Worst Sequels of All Time

    20/09/2018 Duration: 01h48min

This week on the show, we're back at the movies! We decided to finally review a movie we had scheduled before Preacher came back into our lives: Blade Runner 2049. It was generally agreed that while the movie is visually stunning and well acted, it's far too long.    In part 2, we talked about best and worst movie sequels. It was a varied discussion from amazing sequels as good or better than their predecessors such as Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back...to the likes of Airplane 2 and Dumb and Dumber To, which are both shite. • Episode #85: Preacher Season 3 Wrap-Up / Best & Worst T.V. Season Finales

    16/09/2018 Duration: 01h44min

For the final Preacher related episode of 2018, we did a recap on season 3 and our various thoughts thereon - from new characters to plot developments, to the difficult task of citing the weak points of a phenomenal season.    And for the second half of the podcast, our question of the week was on best and worst television finales. A question which garnered a plethora of opinions on a wide variety of T.V. shows.    Next week, we're back at the movies! Our film of choice is Blade Runner 2049, with our chosen question of the week as:   Best and Worst Sequels of All Time   See you next time. • Episode 84: Schwanzkopf / The Light Above

    08/09/2018 Duration: 01h47min

This week on the show, we doubled up and talked about the final two episodes of the season. Such was the quality of the shows penultimate and last offerings, we ended up lavishing Preacher with well-deserved praise for over 90 minutes or so.    Next week, we will be discussing the season as a whole, as well as briefly touching on where we think it may go to next as a series - provided it gets renewed by AMC.    Our question of the week for the next episode is:   Best and worst TV season finales.    See you next time. • Episode #83: The Tom/Brady / Best Onscreen Duos

    15/08/2018 Duration: 01h35min

This week on Preacher, another solid episode with our various characters on the show in a variety of different fucked up situations, from the soul-stealing trio of Tulip, Featherstone and Jody, to the conflicting vampires of Cassidy and Eccarius to the unlikely duo of Herr Starr and Jesse. More story building was had and with the titular Tom/Brady situation now in place, and one can only imagine the shitstorm that awaits for us in the final two episodes of this years wonderful season of Preacher.   And speaking of onscreen duos, the various partnerships in Preacher led us to our question of the week - best onscreen duos, which generated an obscene amount of feedback on Facebook and Facebook Live. There were far too many to mention, but we got through at least 50, which made for a long discussion on the second half of the podcast    Join us on the next podcast, for discussion on a new episode of Preacher, as well as a new question of the week!   See you next time. Keep on Preachin'!   The video for this weeks

  • Episode #82: Hilter / Best & Worst Vampires in T.V. and Film

    11/08/2018 Duration: 01h37min

This week on the show, we were teased on the Hitler or "Hilter" and Arseface portion of the Preacher storyline again, but at least we expected it this time! This week's Preacher wasn't quite the thrill ride that the last few episodes were for us, but then again it can hardly be 100 miles an hour all the time, and the season has been hugely satisfying so far for the Preachers on this podcast regardless. Here's hoping for a glorious crescendo in the final 3 episodes of the season!   For part 2, our question of the week was best and worst vampires in T.V. and film. It was an eclectic discussion, from the infamous like Dracula to the obscure and quite frankly dumb, like 1979's Scooby Doo villain "The Lady Vampire of the Bay."   Join us on the next podcast, for discussion on a new episode of Preacher, as well as a new question of the week!   See you next time. • Episode #81: Les Enfants Du Sang / Best & Worst Depictions of God & Satan in Film and T.V.

    01/08/2018 Duration: 01h22min

This week on the show, we had an all-too-brief return of Arseface, further development of the Tulip and Jesse Vs. Jodie, T.C. and Grandma battle as well as the introduction of the pretentious yet hilarious Les Enfants Du Sang (Children of the Blood). Between all of this as well as Herr Starr's exceedingly awkward meeting with the Allfather, it was another absolutely stacked episode. Some of us were more entertained than others on the pod, but the show remains of a high standard overall, so here's hoping that standard continues for the remainder of the season.    In part two, in a bid to link into the show in some manner of speaking, our question of the week was Best & Worst Depictions of God & Satan in Film and T.V. After some distracting tongue in cheek suggestions on Facebook live, this then divulged into a sidetracked discussion that veered far, far away from the topic at hand. Still, we had our fun and that's all that matters.    Join us on the next podcast, for discussion on a new episode of Prea
