Destructoid is currently down.We thought you could do with a new, sort-of-unofficial episode of Podtoid to ease you through these troubling times.Nick Chester, Hamsa Aziz, and someone named Samit Sarkar all guest star.

This week, the regular cast sans Linde talked about Medal of Honor, the suspension of Javelin glitch users, and pretty much whatever Brad Nicholson could randomly shout out to throw off Samit's train of thought and interrupt him.Also, Samit says something racist.

This week's Podtoid is a pretty long one. Just be ready for that. This week's episode is so named because I screwed up the episode number in our intro. Seems to happen with alarming regularity, these days. This week, the regular cast minus Sterling discussed Borderlands' similarities to drugs and pornography, the leaked Modern Warfare 2 gameplay video, Netflix on the PS3, and a bunch of random listener question-related stuff. Anthony never writes much of anything for these posts and I'm not going to either, because I just finished editing the podcast and now I don't feel like it. Blame him for setting such a bad example. Yay, Podtoid bonus episode. About a month ago, I made a rant arguing that games should be more than "just fun," and David Jaffe (God of War, Calling All Cars!) ranted back, arguing that I should "shut the f*ck up." It went back and forth for a little while, and last night we had an hourlong discussion about games/art/fun/candy wrappers to cap the whole thing off.  You can listen to it here.

The problem -- and I think I've said this before in regard to fanart header images -- the problem with having a really kickass community who makes stuff for you is that when it comes time to share their works in an official capacity, there are just too many. I would have loved to include every single techno remix inspired by Podtoid 114 in this week's episode, but I had to settle for putting Super Mega Hyper's song at the beginning. You should still check out the Podtoid forum for the rest, though. Anyway, this week's episode is as meandering and weird as you might expect. Not just that this week's episode is a day later than it should be, but that the episode you waited an extra twenty-four hours for is so friggin' bad. I mean, it's moderately enjoyable at moments, don't get me wrong, but...Jesus. Double Dragon, as a film, is such a weird, awful, poorly-structured catastrophe that it often defies mockery. The film includes a character, for instance, whose neck appears to be made of two giant, sweaty testicles. His name is "Bo Abobo." Yeah. It's like that.
