Mostly Nitpicking

Come ye gentle podfolk and hear a story about a movie that wasn't relevant when it came out and CERTAINLY isn't relevant now. This week, Nando DJ and Diggins journey to ye olde olden times of 2010 and discuss a movie that when you hear why we're talking about it, you'll think "Oh...ok", Robin Hood. They nitpick the speeches, and fights, and of course the bees.

The ampersand has joined the family! This week Nando DJ and Diggins speed through the Fast and Furious movie that wasn't bad enough to kill the franchise but not good enough to not get it rebooted, Fast ampersand Furious. They nitpick the races, and busters, and of course the family.  

So I'll tell ya what we want. What we really really want. We want a... we want a... we want a... we want a... we want a... We want everyone to get the vaccine and for community transmission to get to a level where theaters open and we can watch new movies. This week, Nando DJ Diggins and special guest Michelle take a trip on their magic bus to watch the movie requested by Roger, 1997's Spice World. They nitpick the drill instructors, the aliens, and of course Norm from Cheers.

They say hindsight is 2020 and I guess that means foresight is 2021? Is that something? Eh whatever. This week, Nando DJ and Diggins get together to look back at the disaster that was 2020 and make some predictions about the so far also disaster that is 2021. It's the first and last big budget superhero action movie of 2020! This week Nando DJ and Diggins sit on their nice comfy couch miles from any screaming children and watch Wonder Woman 1984. It's a palindrome. Ya get it? This week, Nando DJ and Diggins take a nice short trip to their couch and watch the movie that saved* cinema, Tenet. They nitpick the time travel, the character development, and of course the sons. *or killed maybe

2 Christmas 2 Chronicles. This one also has Tyrese! With Christmas just around the corner (yikes) Nando, DJ, and Diggins turn the cheer up to eleven and watch a movie that certainly has a beginning, middle, and an end as well as just enough legally distinct Minions to keep kids entertained for two hours, The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two. They nitpick the cats, the cookies, and of course the Great Schisms

I know. We're as confused as you are. In the spirit of the upcoming Holiday season, Nando DJ and Diggins watch ... checks notes ... a movie where Nicholas Cage, Tony Jaa, and Crossbones fight a knock off Predator using the titular ancient alien for of martial arts, Jiu Jitsu. They nitpick the weapons, the amnesia, and of course the hoodies.

We never thought this day would come. We still aren't completely sure we didn't hallucinate this episode. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins take a trip back back back to 2017 and watch what definitely was not supposed to be the last X-Men movie before it all gets swallowed up into the MCU, The New Mutants. They nitpick the powers, the corporations, and of course the bears.

It's like if Ratatouille (we know that isn't the mouse's name) spent a movie trying to kill the Swedish Chef and the CGI was somehow less convincing than that of a 2007 Pixar movie. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins take HBO to the Max and watch the latest entry into the "dumped onto streaming" saga of 2020, The Witches. They nitpick the mice, the chickens, and of course the accents.

The ghost is in the Skype call. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about this movie, I don't know what to tell you. This Halloween, Nando DJ and Diggins log on and watch the original social distancing horror movie, Unfriended. They nitpick the chats, the friends, and of course the blenders.

He isn't hollow. Just wanted to throw that out there. This week, the gang is back! Nando, DJ, and Diggins throw on their infrared goggles to watch a movie about a toxic work environment where someone happens to become invisible, Hollow Man. They nitpick the plans, the doors, and of course the invisible gorillas.

Quibi has fallen! We repeat, Quibi has fallen! In this bonus episode Nando DJ and Diggins get together for the first emergency pod to discuss the rise and fall of Quibi.

WE CREATE LIFE...and nitpick it This week, DJ is in space so Nando and Diggins watched a movie that's so strange it took over three hours to nitpick, Jupiter Ascending. They nitpicked the guns, the aliens, and of course the bees.

Waiting To Be Impressed? You're About To Be. By us and this movie. This week, Diggins is away on a secret mission so Nando and DJ watched the 2000's Sean Connery classic The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. They nitpick the guns, the submarines, and of course the invisible manning.

Three fast. Three furious. Three fast for y'all. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins get shipped off the a Japan that looks awfully like 2006 Japan but it actually 2015 or something to watch the strangest Fast and Furious movie until the family goes to space, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. They nitpick the cars, the races, and of course the high schools.

Let's get down to business! To defeat. Disney's disastrous Q3 earnings! This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins take a trip right past memory lane to a similar but much less charming and generally less entertaining but slightly more realistic lane to watch 2020's Disney+'s Mulan. They nitpick the chi, the witches, and of course the trebuchets.

In greenest day, in greenest night, No movie shall escape our sight! Let those who worship forehead's might, Beware our power, Green Lantern's podcast! This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins get our rings on and power through the movie that inexplicably sunk this franchise for the foreseeable future, Green Lantern. They nitpick the test flights, the aliens, and of course the post credits scene.

IT'S IN THE DOME! This week, we were supposed to be talking about Green Lantern but we got sidetracked by something called DC Fandome! We nitpick the cats, the sharks, and of course the Hallelujah.

Ba da ba ba baaaa. It's terrible. This week Nando DJ and Diggins crack open a nice cold refreshing Coca Cola and a nice warm refreshing Big Mac to watch the most blatant rip off in non-Asylum cinema history, Mac and Me. They nitpick the costumes, the product placement, and of course a never before seen clip from the new Ant-Man movie.
