He was patient & passed out demos to every station in New England that was within driving distance from his hometown of Somerville, MA. Eventually his hustle & positive mindset of “I will be the best” led him to his current position of Promotion Director of iHeartMedia of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as well as being on the air. Episode 26: Aaron Naft has always lived his life on impulse & whenever he wants to try something new he goes for it. Born & raised in Bainbridge, Ohio, he decided the fall of his senior year he wanted to go to school in Boston. With little to no research he googled “business schools in Boston” & found himself at Bentley University without once visiting the school. For most of his life he was unable to find something he was truly passionate about but always kept an open mind & tried new things. During his final semester of college he was informed that he would be running on behalf of the Dana Farber Team alongside 500 other runners in the 120th Boston Marathon. Even with finals looming, being in his last semester of college & having to look for a career, Aaron didn't hesitate at the opportunity. Episode 25: Originally from Indiana, Jordan Wozy had an opportunity to play football at Fullerton College in Orange County, CA. After having to redshirt his second year there, he started to lose interest in the game & dropped out to follow his creative passions. Over the next few years he began offering to work for free so that he could get experience & build relationships that he knew would pay off in the long-term. Whether it's photography, videography, or graphic design, Wozy makes sure to get quality final products to his clients in a timely manner. Episode 24: At just 19 years old Noah was running his own furniture store that his father handed to him after he left Coastal Carolina University. At one point the business was grossing $50-100k per month which allowed him to purchase a $90k pick-up truck & was taking $10-15k weekend trips down to Miami. After selling the business when he was in major debt, he packed up from Maryland & headed out to Los Angeles to have a fresh start. Episode 23: Early in his career William Bolton was told, “spend 100% of your time on the music & when the music is dope everything else will come” & that's exactly what he did. After growing up in and attending high school in Detroit, Michigan, he headed east to attend Boston College. Even while working 9-to-5 at a marketing internship during his freshman year summer, Willy B would be cooking up beats in his basement till 2am. He passed out 1,000 free copies of his music to the students at BC & in doing so met his drummer Vicky Stix. Putting his phone number out to the public led him to connect with Hoodie Allen, who he opened up for in Europe on his first tour ever, and eventually was producing records for him. Before getting to college, Justin would push himself to create weekly videos. After getting to school and inadvertently taking a hiatus from producing content, he realized he needed to stop wasting his time & hold himself accountable to produce daily content. Hulse graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after the events of 9/11, Jake realized his dream of becoming an F.B.I. agent was no longer the end goal, and began focusing on film as his passion.
