Ferguson, Baltimore, and Beyond
04/05/2015The six Baltimore police officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray - who died after being injured in police custody - have been charged criminally, State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced Friday. The week's events leading up to that announcement, including rioting, looting, and protesting throughout west Baltimore, mirrored events in Ferguson, MO from late last year. Today we'll speak with three local police chiefs about one's experience assisting the Sanford, Fla and Ferguson, MO Police Departments at the height of the unrest and the possibility of similar protests happening here in Hampton Roads.
