A NEW EXHIBIT ON A FAMOUS DISASTER HITS TOWN It's all about the Titanic, which of course was a massive ocean liner that hit an iceberg and sank, taking many lives with it. Now there is an exhibit in town, Titanic: An Immersive Voyage that opens in Denver on May 7th. It’s been 40 years since the Titanic wreck was discovered by Navy officer Robert Ballard, 400 miles off Newfoundland’s coast, ending a 73-year mystery. Now, as we mark this historic find, Exhibition Hub and Fever bring the Titanic’s story to life in Denver with the “Titanic: An Immersive Voyage” exhibition. Come aboard the Titanic on the fateful night of April 14, 1912, when the "unsinkable" ship met its tragic end, and explore the wreck’s rediscovery from Ballard in 1985, that captivated the world. PEOPLE WANTED TRANSPARENCY FROM THE COLORADO GOP And unlike the last "leadership" group who made lots of accusation about the previous leadership and lots of noise about audits that would show malfeasance that never came, the new leadership of the Colorado GOP is leaning into full transparency. In an email sent to State Committee Members that was shared with me, they bring the receipts and I mean literally.

ABOUT THOSE FIRED CLIMATE SCIENTISTS So I saw this breathless story about how Trump sacked all the climate scientists who were supposed to create a required report for Congress on Climate Change and immediately I suspected what was up by the people quoted in this story. When you start by talking to the Environmental Defense Fund I know it's only left wingers working on this thing, and they are left wingers who rely on government money to continue their research so OF COURSE they are going to say we're all going to die. Then I saw this column by my new BFF Dr. William Wielicki about it and so he's on today at 1pm to talk about what this really means and what should happen next. A HUGE RAID IN COLORADO SPRINGS FINDS DRUGS, GUNS AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS And some members of the military from Fort Carson, either partying or working as security at what is being called an "underground" nightclub, though I'm not sure exactly what that means. More than 100 people who are in the country illegally were swept up in the raid that also found drugs and guns. This was a DEA investigation in cooperation with ICE, so it wasn't JUST about finding people in the country illegally. I've got someone from the DEA on today at 2:30 to find out more details.

ABOUT THAT SO-CALLED COLORADO DOGE And I'm going to call it a grift. I saw something on Facebook that purportedly said it was Colorado DOGE and it was asking for money. I clicked through to their fundraising page only to find a BUNCH of words and a donate money, but nothing that said who was behind it and what they were raising money FOR. They called themselves a non-profit, but gave no Tax ID information to indicate they have any sort of actual non-profit status where you can deduct those deductions, which I think is a pretty big omission. I asked on the air last week if anyone new about this and Natalee Tennant has the skinny. She joins me with Todd Watkins on to talk about the latest from the angry group of Republicans bitterly trying to hold onto power rather than actually win a race at 1.
