Johnny and Christopher discuss how the cosmos has come into sync, allowing them to be unemployed at the same time. They give their Top 5 cool stuff they’re going to do while jobless. They discuss Deep Cover, a true-crime podcast about an undercover FBI agent whose case ultimately leads to a US invasion of a foreign country. (Johnny is trying to take credit for discovering this podcast, but his brother, Billy, recommended it to us, which is further proof that Billy is the cooler of the Castanha boys). They recommend some stuff, and Johnny plays music that Christopher will fast forward through.

Johnny and Christopher have outdone themselves with their argument over the Top 5 reasons Best Frenemies will break up. It’s a bitch fight for the ages. Shockingly, Johnny and Christopher managed to make time to record this episode. Johnny has gone down a video game rabbit hole, and Christopher is busy pretending to look for a job. Johnny and Christopher are beginning to crack from the imposed lockdown. Okay, Johnny is doing just fine. Christopher is beginning to crack. Johnny and Christopher are back at it while in quarantine. For some reason, they thought it would be a good idea to invite the Laker Chicken to join them. They learned three things during this segment: 1. The Laker Chicken is an asshole. 2. Christopher has thrown up on the Laker Chicken. 3. Johnny didn’t say much during this segment, so that was a positive. They do Top 5 things everyone loves, but they hate. (Spoiler alert: This might be the most heated Top 5.) They recommend some stuff. (Spoiler alert: Just fast-forward past Johnny’s recommendation; it was a slap in the face to Christopher during an emotional time.)

Johnny and Christopher are back, but this time their audio is better because they’re using headsets. Who knew? Not those technical geniuses. They used a special app that allowed them to record while practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Johnny doesn’t have the luxury of sheltering-in-place because heroes don’t think about their own safety. His heroic efforts are making sure the masses have Rockstar during this difficult and uncertain time. Christopher, not so much. Like a sissy, he’s in his house 24/7 like a little bitch. Thank God Johnny whiffed it with his number one pick so Christopher could berate him. The Best Frenemies are rather pleased with themselves that there was only one sexist joke during the segment. Johnny and Christopher got snubbed again by the Oscars, so they have zero guilt watching the screener copies of Uncut Gems and Ford v Ferrari to discuss for their tens of fans. Spoiler: Johnny loves them, but he hasn’t disliked a film since Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. They start the show off with an international threat from Juggs to Christopher. Spoiler: Nobody likes Juggs. They give their Top 5 favorite actors, they recommend some stuff, and Johnny plays music that Christopher won’t ever listen to. Johnny and Christopher close out 2019 with an episode that is like a white elephant gift you’ve been trying to unload since 2003, but nobody wants it, and it always seems to find its way back to you again and again. They give their Top 5 worst Christmas gifts. They discuss the HBO series Watchmen with Christopher’s wife, Jamie “You’re Pissing Me Off” Reese. A lot has happened since the last episode came out, but the only thing that really matters is that Christopher received his brown belt in Jiu Jitsu. He informs Johnny that they’re the same rank now, so he won’t be taking any of his nonsense anymore. They do Top 5 reasons for not sparring with someone. Coach Jeff (also a brown belt but should be a black belt) stops by to participate in Comics Corner aka #comichead. The best frenemies discuss the new streaming service Disney+ and, as always, they recommend some stuff. All in all, a good episode. On a scale from 1-10, Christopher’s performance in this episode is an 8, while Johnny disappoints with a 3.

Johnny and Christopher are back with the newest episode. Dr. Warren Wang stops by to talk about being an ass-kicking medical doctor who retired from his practice so he could be the ringside physician for One Championship, which is Asia’s largest sports media property. Johnny and Christopher have never felt more inadequate. Compared to Dr. Warren, they really haven’t done much with their lives. To illustrate this, they do Top 5 weaknesses, then recommend some stuff. They would like credit for not asking Dr. Warren to write them prescriptions for painkillers.

Johnny loves the LA Lakers. Christopher loves the Utah Jazz. Their love runs deep. However, Johnny’s love for his team doesn’t translate into knowledge about them. In this stirring episode, Christopher demonstrates a deeper knowledge about the Lakers than Johnny, which is interesting because the bald guy hates the Lakers. How is that, Johnny? It’s like you don’t watch the games. Do you just look at the box scores the next morning? Anyway, they do Top 5 favorite plays of their teams (spoiler: We’re not even sure Johnny is talking about the Lakers.) Coach Jeff stops by for the new segment Comics Corner (spoiler: All three men participating in this segment aren’t virgins.) And they recommend some stuff, and they watch a Jazz/Laker game (spoiler: It was a horrible game, and the outcome is fake news.)

Johnny and Christopher are back for their Halloween episode. We learn that Christopher doesn’t really like this pointless holiday, but with that said, he still brings his A game and crushes it. Kind of surprising that Johnny is a non-factor in this episode because he loves Halloween. Weird. Top 5 favorite Halloween costumes, they discuss the new film Joker, and Johnny’s son, Donnie Darko, stops by to give his thoughts on It 2. Then they recommend some stuff and continue with the segment “Shit your Wife Told Me”

Johnny and Christopher are back with their 30th episode! Christopher’s parents come into the studio and won’t shut up with all their stories about how wonderful their son was and is! God, it’s embarrassing all the praise they lavish on him. Okay, maybe that’s not what happened. Maybe it was the other way, and Christopher ended the episode in tears.
