  • Trevor Deely

    26/06/2022 Duration: 36min

"Hi, Glen, I've missed you there. Just on my way home, all going good. I'll talk to you tomorrow."In the early morning hours of 8 December 2000, Trevor Deely was walking back to his flat in Dublin's Ballsbridge neighborhood after attending an office Christmas party. CCTV footage would capture 22-year-old Trevor briefly stopping by his workplace - the Bank of Ireland Asset Management building along Leeson Street - and then again a short time later near the Baggot Street Bridge. However, in both pieces of footage, a suspicious man in dark clothing can be seen; in the last bit of footage, he appears to be following Trevor...To view the CCTV footage, please check out the following video hosted by the Garda Press Office: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcYxruBEmFE Episode written, hosted, and produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.

  • Lenoria Jones

    19/06/2022 Duration: 01h09min

"It's a difficult case. You've got no crime scene, no body, no witnesses. You basically have nothing but the hope somebody is going to talk."At approximately 9:40 AM on the morning of 20 July 1995, 45-year-old Berlean Williams called 911. In a rather-unaffected voice, she told the dispatcher that her niece and adopted daughter, 3-year-old Lenoria Jones, was missing, having disappeared from a Target in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma, Washington.Despite searching the surrounding area for several hours, police were unable to locate any trace of the missing girl. As you'd expect, they'd begin to question the woman who'd reported the girl missing, but this would only create more questions than answers...Episode researched, written, hosted, and produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron o

  • Danielle Imbo & Richard Petrone Jr.

    05/06/2022 Duration: 34min

"Tips throughout time have indicated logically that this is not a kidnapping case. We're looking very closely at a murder-for-hire scenario."On the evening of 19 February 2005, Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. met up with some friends along Philadelphia's South Street. There, at a bar called Abilene, they hung out for a bit and watched a live band, then reportedly left in a good mood at about 11:45 PM.The following morning, no trace of either Danielle nor Richard could be found. Attempts to find them, as well as Richard's 2001 Dodge Dakota, have proven unsuccessful over the years. While there is no evidence pointing to their current whereabouts - nor their continued existence following the night of their disappearance - the FBI publicly suspected that the two had been targeted for a hit...Episode researched & written by Troy LarsonEpisode hosted & produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would

  • The Pennsylvania Serial Bomber?

    15/05/2022 Duration: 50min

"We remain committed to keeping the community safe and urge the public if they see these devices on the street or see them being sold to call 911."On 4 October 2019, an explosion rocked a home on Market Street in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, a small town of not-quite 6,000 residents. A woman, 34-year-old Shanna Carlson, was killed in the blast and ensuing fire. The cause was an unidentified explosive device, which exploded with such force that Shanna had to be identified by a tattoo on her leg. While looking into that story (of which, sadly, not much information can be found) we ended up coming upon a far wider-reaching and more terrifying story: a potential serial bomber terrorizing families throughout Pennsylvania... 15/05/2022 Duration: 39min

There has been an update in the story of Shannan Gilbert, the woman whose disappearance led to the discovery of the Long Island Serial Killer victims (episodes #14-16 from 2016). Authorities in Suffolk County have finally released the audio from Shannan's 911 call(s) on the night of her disappearance, which they have fought tooth-and-nail against releasing for the better part of a decade, fearing that it would impact their ongoing LISK investigation... while also claiming in the same breath that Shannan's death had nothing to do with this unidentified serial killer. • The I-70 Killer

    01/05/2022 Duration: 40min

"I think we are definitely dealing with a serial killer. He's not really getting much money out of the shops. We don't know why he's killing people."Between April and May of 1992, a series of shooting deaths took place in Midwest shops, located intermittently along Interstate 70. Four of the victims - Robin Fuldauer, Patricia Smith, Nancy Kitzmiller, and Sarah Blessing - were young brunettes. The other two - Patricia Magers and Michael "Mick" McCown - appeared to be outliers. For years, investigators have struggled to determine why the offender committed these crimes, with robbery and sexual assault not believed to be motives. And while the offender hasn't yet been caught, he has been linked to other crimes committed in Texas and Indiana, including a 2001 murder in which the offender was caught on surveillance footage...To view the surveillance footage of the offender from the 2001 murder of Billy Brossman in Terra Haute, Indiana, please view and share the clip from KMOV St. Louis linked below:https://www.you

    17/04/2022 Duration: 43min

"The further the investigation is conducted the deeper the mystery becomes..."Almost exactly two years after the attacks in Cumminsville, Ohio came to an end, a nearly-identical fiend began assaulting and murdering women approximately fifty miles north, in Dayton. First came the murder of Dona Gilman in November of 1906, followed by the murders of Anna Markowitz and her boyfriend Abe Cohan approximately nine months later. Two more women would meet their fate in January of 1909 - Mary Forschner and Elizabeth Fulhart - before the offender's crimes came to a mysterious end... • The Cumminsville Ripper

    10/04/2022 Duration: 49min

"The girl's head rested in a big pool of blood. Her eyes were wide open. The teeth were missing, and her face completely covered with blood. In one hand was clasped a transfer."Throughout 1904, a series of assaults and murders would make headlines in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Cumminsville. There, in the area surrounding Spring Grove Cemetery, a beast of a man preyed upon vulnerable women traveling at night. Three women would fall prey to the killer - Mary McDonald, Lulu Mueller, and Alma Steinway - but dozens of others would report close calls or run-ins with the ripper, who seemed to commit his crimes within close proximity to the area's rail lines...The map of the locations described in this episode can be viewed at the following Google Earth link. 20/03/2022 Duration: 38min

"The vessel would never sink unless she broke up... I just can't understand why everybody would have abandoned her."On 10 November 1955, Captain Gerald Douglas of the merchant ship Tuvalu sighted the MV Joyita in the South Pacific near Fiji. The Joyita had left Samoa in the first week of October and was five weeks overdue to arrive in the Tokelau Islands, a territory of New Zealand, and was nearly 800 miles off-course. • Dana Chisholm

    06/03/2022 Duration: 26min

"She lived two very separate lives. We all think about the small-town girl who comes to the big city, meets predators who prey on her and that leads to her demise. But that is not the case here.
