"It takes a certain mentality, and a certain personality type, to commit an act like this. To burn a woman alive is not something many people are capable of doing."Early on the evening of 1 December 2017, authorities in Colorado were dispatched to a home located in Bailey, a small town southwest of Denver. There, at an isolated home in rural Park County, they came upon an active fire. A 9-1-1 call made a short time prior said that multiple people were inside the home causing damage, but by the time authorities arrived, the suspect(s) had fled and the house was on fire.Despite initial reports that no one was found inside the burning home, that would change in the days to come, as the homeowners attempted to track down their 17-year-old daughter. To this day, events surrounding her mysterious death remain clouded in mystery...If you know anything - or think you may know anything - please reach out to your nearest FBI field office or American Embassy/Consulate. "Someone did this with a purpose of doing this. Not once, not twice, not three times but four. I don't know anything scarier than that."Early on the afternoon of 13 November 2022, police in Moscow, Idaho responded to a 911 call about an "unconscious individual" at 1122 King Road. Inside the home, located near the University of Idaho campus, officers would find four bodies in total: three young women that lived at the property (Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle) and one young man (Ethan Chapin, Xana's boyfriend). All four victims had been killed in an apparent homicide, likely stabbed to death with the same knife, but specific details about the crime remain clouded in mystery. In the weeks since this event unfolded, police in Moscow have continued to search for the unknown subject that committed this crime, while attempting to protect the integrity of their investigation from rumor, gossip, and online chatter. • The Little Rock Slasher

    14/11/2022 Duration: 28min

He likely has familiarity with the area in which the victims were attacked."Between August 2020 and April 2021, four brutal knife attacks were reported in the Midtown neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas. The first two victims, Larry McChristian & Jeff Welch, were each murdered in residential neighborhoods in August and September of 2020. "Are you dead yet?"On 13 May 2004, four men drove out from Fairbanks, Alaska along the Steese Highway. • The Castration Murders

    03/10/2022 Duration: 56min

"We found drag marks and blood spatters leading from the highway to the trees. It looks like someone just drove up, dragged the body out of the car, dumped it and then drove away."In June of 1982, the body of 21-year-old Marty Shook was discovered in Daniel's Canyon, a mountain pass near Heber City, Utah. He had been shot once in the back of the head with a .38-caliber handgun, but most shockingly, had been castrated postmortem by his killer, with Wasatch County Sheriff's Det. Stevan Ridge describing the victim as "really carved up." Over the next several years, investigators would struggle to identify the killer(s) of Marty Shook, who had only been hitchhiking for two days before the discovery of his nude body. However, in 1988, following the submission of Marty's case into VICAP (Violent Criminal Apprehension Program), analysts discovered that he may have just been one victim of a sadistic serial killer... • Joshua Maddux

"Sometimes in life, our stories don't have happy endings. I'm sorry to say that this is one of those stories..."On the morning of May 8th, 2008, Joshua Maddux told his family he was going to go for a walk. It was a chilly-but-nice day, and a morning walk or hike was not at all unusual for the outdoorsy 18-year-old. Sadly, he never came home, and attempts to track him down proved fruitless for his loved ones. Years later, in 2015, demolition crews made a gruesome discovery: the skeletonized remains of Josh Maddux, approximately two blocks away from his family's home in Woodland Park, Colorado. His remains were inside the chimney of an abandoned cabin near the area's historic Thunderhead Ranch... 27/07/2022 Duration: 01h05min

"Have no fear. We come from a country that is not nearly as powerful as yours. We mean you no harm."Throughout 1966 and 1967, weird encounters were reported all throughout the region of West Virginia surrounding Point Pleasant. These ranged from sightings of bright lights in the sky to more direct encounters with strange beings. Journalists attempted to make sense of the endless barrage of sightings, which seemed to draw closer and closer to Point Pleasant throughout 1967. But when it all culminated in the collapse of the town's Silver Bridge in December of that year, resulting in 46 deaths, people began to question if what they had seen was a dark omen... The 59-year-old Ohio native worked as the District Attorney for Pennsylvania's Centre County, and despite having plenty to do that Friday, nobody thought twice about the esteemed prosecutor taking time off of work, as he had been complaining of fatigue for weeks. That evening, Ray would fail to contact his girlfriend, Patty Fornicola, who he lived and worked with. She called 911 at approximately 11:30 PM, resulting in a desperate search for any sign of Ray or his vehicle...
