She started her career in advertising, and has since done stand-up comedy, competed in a sailing race (even though she cannot sail), started a podcast with her husband (CoupleCo: Working With Your Spouse for Fun & Profit), spends half the year traveling in an RV with her husband, and is now the author of not one, but 2 novels! We get into the importance of good lighting, loving New Orleans, the inspiration behind her first novel, Careful-ish, and the important reason behind turning the book into a series.
