  • 206: Question Everything

    06/04/2021 Duration: 16min

Far too often we get into the habit of living our lives in certain ways without giving it too much thought. In a way, we walk around half a sleep, even if knowing that "waking up" would actually improve our lives in countless ways. One way to get out of the habit of being yourself is to question everything. While it can be scary to do so, I do believe more often than not, the benefits of doing so outweigh the risks. Tune in to this week's Emotionally Equipped podcast to learn more.

  • 205: Practice Makes Possible

    30/03/2021 Duration: 23min

You are in for a treat today. While I had plans to share my weekly episode with you, a good friend of mine reached out to me with an epic situation she experienced yesterday and she told me how she used The unSTUCK Method and The CLEAR Way to help her through it. She said it would be a great story for the podcast and I welcomed her to share her story with joy! I hope you enjoy Esther's story about "practice makes possible."  When you're done listening, I welcome you to tune back in to Episode 39 for a laugh.

  • 204: Breaking traditions

    23/03/2021 Duration: 17min

According to Google, tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation.  I am sure you have lots of traditions in your life. Many of them have probably been passed down to you generation to generation, and others may have been traditions you created on your own. The question is, at which point do you keep a tradition, just for the sake of keeping it, even when it no longer has meaning in your life or when it makes no sense at all for you to keep it? Tune in to this week's episode to learn how you can get unSTUCK from breaking traditions you no longer want or need in your life, and get CLEAR with creating new ones. • 203: Trust your tools

    15/03/2021 Duration: 16min

When you learn about the mind, you realize something curious: that the mind often innocently works against you. You would think that your mind should be working for you, and in a way it does - when it keeps you safe and out of harm's way. But often when the mind is doing that, what it's also doing is keeping you back from evolving and living to your truest potential. So rather than depending on your mind when you get stuck, I invite you to consider depending on your tools. Tune in to this week's podcast episode to learn more. https://www.instagram.com/shiragura/

    01/03/2021 Duration: 20min

Life is like a jigsaw puzzle. We're always in the process between unknowing and knowing. And even when the puzzle is complete, the truth is, we simply start all over again with a new puzzle. The question is: Who are you being in the process? Tune in to learn more and get emotionally equipped and inspired with the jigsaw puzzle you are currently working on in your life.

  • 200: On Self love

    22/02/2021 Duration: 25min

In celebration of my 200th episode, I decided to go a little vulnerable on this episode. Instead of teaching about self-love, I decided to share a story of where and how I recently had to get myself unSTUCK from self-loathing and instead deliberately choose to love myself. So many people fall into the trap of self-resentment. It's far too easy to believe we aren't good enough, we aren't perfect enough, and we aren't worthy. And yet, self-hatred will never get you anywhere. Tune in to this episode to hear my story, share with me your thoughts, and consider sharing this episode with a friend. As always, I look forward to getting unSTUCK with you, Shira http://shiragura.com/youareloved

  • 199: 3 words to improve a relationship

    16/02/2021 Duration: 30min

In this week's podcast episode, I share with you a new tool I've been working on behind the scenes with my husband for about a year. This is a tool that has powerfully supported our marriage and therefore, I wanted to share it with my podcast listeners. This tool is different from my other self-help tools (The unSTUCK Method and The CLEAR Way) in that it is meant to be used by both parties involved, rather than just one. Tune in to learn more and if you do try out this tool in your relationship, please share with me your experiences with it! As always, I look forward to getting unSTUCK with you, Shira www.shiragura.com

  • 198: Getting unstuck from self-sabotage

    09/02/2021 Duration: 25min

There's a name for this. It's called "self-sabotage" and there's a simple reason why this may be happening to you. It has to do with your feelings. The good thing is, it is possible to live a life without self-sabotage, if you know how to avoid it. In this episode I teach you 3 simple, but power ways to do so. • 197: On Being Loving

    02/02/2021 Duration: 37min

In any and every relationship, you have the choice to be loving. No matter what the circumstances are around you, no matter how other people are acting, and no matter how other people are being, you can choose to be loving. You don't have to let other people determine the way you want to show up in the world. How you show up in the world is always your choice. Tune in to this week's episode to learn more about where and how you can practice being more loving in your life.

  • 196: On the Courage to be Self-Expressed

    26/01/2021 Duration: 26min

So many people have a fear of being self-expressed. Which makes a lot of sense. It's only natural to want to be liked - and when you are self-expressed it exposes you to the possibilities of people creating negative opinions of you. The problem is, when you don't allow yourself to be self-expressed, your emotions get bottled up inside of you - until at some point you can't hold onto those feelings any longer - and you just automatically burst. It takes courage to be self-expressed. And it takes practice to get unSTUCK and get CLEAR so you can courageously be the self-expressed person you are meant to be. • 195: On the Courage to Make a Shift

    18/01/2021 Duration: 25min

When you are feeling stuck, you are probably "being" someone you don't want to be. You get hijacked by your emotions and your emotions take control of the real you. But when you go through the process of getting unSTUCK, there's an opportunity for you to shift. To shift out of who you were being and into the person you truly want to be. It's simple, but not easy. Tune in to this week's Living Deliberately podcast to learn more. And sign up for today's webinar at: www.shiragura.com

  • 194: Stuck on What Other's Think of You

    11/01/2021 Duration: 22min

Do you ever get stuck on caring what other people think of you? It's a very common human behavior to do this. We come from a tribal background where fitting in literally often meant a matter of life or death.   But there are lots of problems with this: *You may not ever be able to change to their desires. *If you are able to change, you'll become someone who you're not. * You can't control other people's opinions anyway.   In the Living Deliberately community this month, we are focusing on and internalizing the word "Courage."   I have lots of different definitions for courage. One of which is letting others be wrong about you. I think that takes courage.   Tune in to this week's Living Deliberately podcast to hear more.   And join me next week for my FREE webinar: 3 tools to Live Your Best Life! https://shiragura.com/free-webinar-jan-2021/

  • 193: Say "No!" to New Year's Resolutions

    05/01/2021 Duration: 26min

2021 has just begun. And with it comes lots of feelings of excitement and hope. Many people around this time make New Year's resolutions. Unfortunately, statistics show that New Year's resolutions don't work. And that's because New Year's resolutions are devoid of the secret to creating change. The secret is not so much about the actions you take, but rather about something else entirely. Tune in to learn more and to see what YOU can do this year to create the changes and improvements you are looking to create. www.shiragura.com

  • 192: Trusting the process

    28/12/2020 Duration: 26min

There are two ways to look at life: That it's happening to you, or that it's happening for you. When you look at life from the latter, you realize what a gift it is. Each of us is on our own healing journey. It's very easy to feel fearful, uncertain, or hopeless when you aren't getting the results you want or hope to see. But staying in difficult emotions like that will only keep you stuck. Getting unSTUCK and trusting the process will open your heart and mind to realize that life is unfolding exactly as it should for you, because it's exactly what you are experiencing and nothing different. This is not an easy attitude to take, but what you focus on grows stronger. The more you trust your life's process, the more will feel trusting. I welcome your thoughts and responses as always!

  • 191: On Generosity

    21/12/2020 Duration: 20min

This month, the Living Deliberately community focused on practicing generosity in their lives. But have you ever stopped to consider what really is generosity? Is generosity just a willingness to give support and help, or is something more? Do you need to feel generous in order for something to be considered an act of generosity or are your feelings about it irrelevant? Tune in to hear some thoughts I've been pondering this month and the conclusion I came to regarding what generosity really is. I warmly welcome you to join us inside The Living Deliberately Hub on Facebook to continue the conversation and practice Living Deliberately each and every day! www.shiragura.com

  • 190: How to Feel on Purpose (Deliberately)

    15/12/2020 Duration: 28min

Most people erroneously believe that it's the things outside of them (like, the people and circumstances in their lives) that cause them to feel the things they feel. But, the truth is, feelings come from within. Feelings are generated by the thoughts you choose to believe. No one and nothing can make you feel anything you don't want to. What you feel is always a choice. The power is always within you. Tune in to learn more about creating feelings on purpose!
