Trapped alone on a desolate planet with only his knowledge and plucky attitude to survive. The Martian is a 2015 film starring Matt Damon adaptation of a novel of the same name and it's a lot of fun. No bones about it the DC Animated Cinematic Universe is fucking killing it! Unlike the live action section attempting to suck Zack Snyder's teat and missing only to hit cock, the animated universe is nothing but interesting stories and great characters. And Justice League Dark is one of those movies that I have been looking forward to. Turns out it was not quite worth the wait. I feel about this movie how most of the Batman fandom feels about the first half of Killing Joke, the movie version, except for valid reasons and not just mindless bitching about Batgirl getting some Wayne dick. Paul W. S. Anderson is probably one of the most infamous directors operating today. He exists along with names like Uwe Boll and anyone who directs Asylum films. He makes "action" packed movies, some adaptations...all adaptations. Unlike Uwe though his films are very hit and miss. Some are a great time and fun like The Original Mortal Kombat or are boring pieces of shit with terrible effects and and even worse story like the second Mortal Kombat. This movie has the balls to claim "The film Ed Wood wished he had made!". Except Ed Wood's films were attempts at being inventive and interesting even if they were garbage. Dead Rising is a great series of games and surprisingly a great movie as well! I know shocker but ain't that America, based on a Japanese game. Ratchet and Clank has a Metacritic score of 8.6, in general a pretty good score. Too bad that's the game. The movie is rated much worse with an 18% on Rotten Tomatoes. And damn it if it doesn't deserve a score that low. Weak story, no character development at all and pacing the speed of snakes playing red light green light; Ratchet and Clank the movie is just so not good! It's a shame the talent and performances that were put into such a lackluster movie. I can only hope Sly won't be anywhere near as bad as Ratchet and Clank. Enlist today!
