One of the most entertaining weight classes of all time. He trained and went to war with some all time greats. Tim Vanni is a USA wrestling legend and Hall of Famer, also a longtime coach with a wealth of knowledge. Seems like a super nice guy too. Was an honor to talk to him.

This is the second interview with one of my childhood heroes Eric Akin. Eric was a beast on the mat and an inspiration off of it. 7x State Champ. 4 kids and 3 High school. Junior National Champion, 4x D1 All American and NCAA finalist for Iowa State. He made world teams as a cadet, Junior and on the senior level as well as being a 2x Olympic Alternate. He's in the National wrestling Hall of fame in Stilllwater and more importantly he's an outstanding coach, husband and father of 4. We cover a lot of ground in this podcast and I can't tell you how many more questions went un asked. We will have to do a part 3 for sure. One of my favorite guys to interview.
