Synopsis

A late night show for your ears since 2013. A comedian and his film school friends have reunited for one epic podcast after another. Binge Watchers get it? We talk about movies. We sometimes talk about our own experiences being on Hollywood's D list of weirdo indie filmmakers trying to catch a break before a total break down. But, hey we will always have this podcast we made, right? Until the digital crash and all digital info is zapped bye-bye, but wait, we are getting off track and this podcast description is getting way too long. Hosted by a writer and comedian, John Travis. Sometimes joined by his friends. And an entertainer or musician stops by every episode or so often to talk shop, tell a great story, or impart some crazy inspiration. Binge with us!

Johnny speculates on the possibility of a new Friday the 13th movie set on a frozen lake, envisioning a holiday-themed Jason Voorhees wreaking havoc during family gatherings. He also talks about Nocturne's return for a second season and his love for Alucard from Castlevania, weighing him against Vampire Hunter D. The episode's main feature is a deep dive into the 1977 cult horror film The Car, where a possessed black Lincoln Continental terrorizes a desert town. Johnny provides fascinating trivia about the film’s production, including its eerie connection to James Brolin’s personal life and the car's creepy horn blasts that heighten the tension. The show covers everything from the film’s side characters, including hot teachers and a cowboy sheriff, to Johnny’s surprise at how much he actually enjoyed the movie. Ending on
