The Essential of a Good Conscience
11/07/2017We are people who bend reality by our imaginations. It is true that our imaginations are powerful. Imaginations have built Disney Worlds. Imaginations have sent astronauts to the moon. Imaginations are working on driverless cars, expeditions to Mars, and coast-to-coast travel in less than an hour. However, your imagination cannot bend reality to suit your outlook. The problem is most people believe their conscience is God’s informant in their life. This is only partially true. Your conscience is only as good as the information you feed your conscience. Here is the most important question for your Christian life: Is it possible you believe you are a faithful follower of Christ, but in reality, you’re not? Is it possible that you might not be as faithful a follower of Christ as you’d like to think? The post The Essential of a Good Conscience appeared first on Anthony Baptist Church.

The Discovery
05/07/2017As we see Christ in Joseph, you will notice he is alive. The most important announcement ever proclaimed, He is not here, he is risen (Luke 24:6). He is Lord of lords, and at his name, every knee shall bow and worship Christ (Philippians 2). He sincerely loves you and desires full pardon so you can be restored to Him. He is loaded with all blessings. Your God can supply all your needs according to his riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). What is most dear, he is longing for you. He is preparing a place for you so you can be with him in the best of the land forever and ever. The post The Discovery appeared first on Anthony Baptist Church.

The Pledge of Your Participation
04/07/2017You’ve heard freedom is not free, and like social freedom, spiritual freedom required a sacrifice. God guarantees life if we die and glory if we suffer. You arrive at the promise only by way of the conforming path. It requires the brave surrender of your present tangibles for the future hope. You do not live for the present. You use the present as a good steward to secure a favorable future. The toil will only be over when we cross the barrier of time. In the eternal presence of God, we will know it was worth it all. Friend or Foe?
26/06/2017For you to truly have pleasure, you need to run to the original source of that pleasure. God has richly given us all things to enjoy, but remember who gave you those things to begin with—God. God has given you those things, but our lusts lie to us and tell us to pursue those things instead of the Giver of those things. We swap our love for the provider for the provision and we become frustrated in our life. We keep sipping from the other fountains yet without any satisfaction.
