  Chatting With Sherri welcomes author David Hair! David Hair is an award-winning author from New Zealand who has written five fantasy series, four of which have been published internationally. The first two are Young Adult novels: Aotearoa, and The Return of Ravana. David also writes epic fantasy, both series to date set in the imaginary world of Urte: The Moontide Quartet and its sequel The Sunsurge Quartet. He was also invited to write a stand-alone novel set in World War One; 1916: Dig For Victory, which was part of a five author series commemorating New Zealand’s involvement in the Great War. The Moontide Quartet has been translated into four other languages and made into an audiobook. David’s first novel, The Bone Tiki, was published in 2009 and won the Best Frist novel at the 2010 New Zealand Children’s Book Awards. Winner of two Sir Julius Vogel Awards for Best Youth Novel (2016) and Best New Talent (2017), Eileen Mueller lives in New Zealand, on the side of a hill, with her four dragonets. In 2014 & 2015, she had fun organizing Wellington’s Storylines Family Day for thousands of kids – a festival bringing books alive through performances, crafts, and fun activities with kiwi authors and illustrators. Multi-talented photographer Ian creates amazing pictures of athletes, models, actors and planes!  Creative paths and opportunities have also sent me in many directions including motion picture still photography. That afforded me one of the highlights of my life, working with Hollywood luminaries Gena Rowlands and Rita Moreno on the motion picture “Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks”. The Director of Photography was the very respected and esteemed Vilmos Zsigmond, said to be the greatest Cinematographer who has ever lived. Not yet done with directions, I am the photographer for the Palm Springs Air Museum. CNN lists it as one of the best Air Museums in the world. It is also a rarity because it is a flying museum. As a little boy I used to build military aircraft models and hang them from the ceiling in my room. Now my photography hast taken me full circle again. Chatting With Sherri meets with the cast of Mishpucha! Sherri’s Playhouse presents a very short tiny play called Mishpucha! It was originally for an under 10 minute play writing contest. But it was so personal and special I decided to do it on Sherri’s Playhouse. It is a very short re-imagining of the founding of my family in the US. It was a very personal project and I am very interested in chatting with my cast about bringing it to life.

Thunder was born and raised in New York City, graduated from Hunter College High School, and received a BFA in Film from NYU before moving to Los Angeles at age 23. Chatting With Sherri welcomes actress; Erika Eleniak! Erika Eleniak  began her acting career at the age of 10, starring in numerous productions for television, film, commercials and theater. Her first film role was in the science fiction blockbuster E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, by Steven Spielberg. Her film credit given was "Pretty Girl".  It was directly after this, that Erika joined the original cast of the television series Baywatch (1989) and stayed there for the first two years. Erika decided to leave the series after it changed direction. She wanted to venture out into other avenues and so began a successful film career. Erika starred in such films as Under Siege, The Beverly Hillbillies, Chasers , A Pyromaniac's Love Story, Bordello of Blood, among many others. Erika did a film called Snowbound in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she met and fell in love with Roch Daigle, a film technician. While Erika lived in Calgary, she did many independent films and cable movies, including some for Lifetime.

Jeanne Basone is a professional wrestler, actress, model, and stuntwoman best known by her ring name Hollywood in the women’s wrestling syndicated television show G.L.O.W.  She and her costars were recently honored by the Cauliflower Alley Club, a fraternal professional wrestling organization, for their achievements in helping break the glass ceiling in the sport.She appeared in several all-female wrestling promotions including CRUSH, Beauty Slammers, and Hottest Ladies of Wrestling. Rubin began his motion picture writing career when he acquired the theatrical remake rights to the ABC television series Combat! and sold his screenplay and the rights to Savoy Pictures and later Paramount. He made his producing debut for Showtime in 2001 on the baseball comedy Bleacher Bums, starring Peter Riegert, Brad Garrett, Wayne Knight and Charles Durning.  In 2002, for the Hallmark Channel, he produced the true World War II drama Silent Night, starring Linda Hamilton, which was nominated for four Canadian Television Academy Awards.       He served as executive producer on Archie’s Final Project, an indie teen dramedy that won the Best Picture award in its class at the Berlin Film Festvial in 2009, and 19 other Best Picture awards around the world. Craig Miller is a well-known and respected writer/producer with over 300 credits but he began his Hollywood career as a specialist in motion picture publicity, promotion, and licensing.He started his marketing career fresh out of college, working for George Lucas on a science fiction movie nobody thought would break even: Star Wars.He was Producer-for-Lucasfilm on episodes of Sesame Street guest starring R2-D2 and C-3PO, the Star Wars robots, and other shows and projects. Miller set up as an independent publicity consultant, working with most of the major studios and many independent companies through his company, Con Artists, and with creative forces of nature such as Stephen Spielberg and Jim Henson.  Films he’s worked on include The Dark Crystal, The Muppets Take Manhattan, Excalibur, Superman II, Altered States, Splash, The Black Cauldron, Real Genius, and dozens of others.

Chatting With Sherri celebrates Dick York's birthday with Chris York! Sept. 4th would have been Dick York's 90th birthday! We celebrate with his beloved son Chris York to chat about his Dad and his dream of getting a star for him on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Chris York is the son of the brilliant Dick York who played Darrin Stephens, in the classic 1960s sitcom "Bewitched".Besides being a talented and much respected actor, he is also remembered for being a caring family man and a tireless humanitarian. He founded Acting for Life in the early 1980s, a fund-raising, non-profit organization, to help the homeless people in America. Chris is trying to get his dad a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, very much deserved.
