The first round of the NFL Draft had a shadow hanging over it this year, as news of Packers great Aaron Rodgers' discontent spread everywhere. But while the presence of Green Bay possibly trading their Hall of Famer away was felt, it was division rival Chicago that made the bold move up (again) to get a new quarterback in Justin Fields. Jay and Dre are happy to welcome back Dave the Movie Expert to examine 2020's eccentric list of movies nominated for the Academy Award. In the wake of last year's nationwide police evildoing, 1960s Chi-Town unrest is fertile ground for two different films. Will one of them claim the Oscar? WWE gets to rewind and try Wrestlemania in the same venue as they would have last year before Coronavirus struck. There will be thousands less in attendance than there would be in the Super Bowl champions house in Tompa Bay, but there will be some fans. So what does WWE do after having a fiftysomething (Oldberg) fighting for a title last year? They have a near-fiftysomething (Edge) fighting this year for a title. When will WWE admit they have a problem building new stars? Jay and Dre welcome Jerry the Wrestling Expert to chat about the go-home Raw and the upcoming wknd. Last year thanks to COVID, baseball was not The Show. It was more like a Three Stooges short. But now the whole full-length feature returns, and Jay and Dre check out every team as the normal 162 is set to be played. Dre's White Sox and Jay's Cubbies are going in different directions. What are their thoughts on the Chicago franchises? What clubs are ready to make the jump into legit contenders? And after finally reaching the pinnacle, can the Dodgers do it again and win another World Series? The Big Dance is back, and despite it not being the same as the countrywide tournament it usually is, we sports fans will gladly take it. It's the latest in the slow return to life as we used to know it before that damned virus. Jay and Dre dig into the brackets for their upsets and championship picks. With so many college hoops legacy teams struggling (and Duke not even in the field), it seems wide open for a squad not normally in title games to take the crown down. Snow and ice and harsh winter weather are no strangers to Chi-Town natives Jay and Dre. But Jay has resided in central Wisconsin for years, so he is even deeper immersed in polar weather, whereas Dre has resided in the Mid-South for the last decade and thus was ill-prepared for the Icing of America a couple weeks ago. Jay called for a Super Duper Shellacking, and by God that's what he got. But no one could have seen this dominant Bucs smashing coming, not when Pat Mahomes had never lost a pro game by double digits coming in to the Big Game. In the latest oddity related to coronavirus in this NFL season, the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs were having haircuts administered by their team barber...when he was yanked mid-cut due to a positive COVID-19 test. The Chiefs were lucky to not have their Super Duper Bowl derailed by COVID, but now they face their toughest test--the ageless Tom Brady and the homestanding Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Who do Jay and Dre have in this clash of youth versus experience? This NFL season was as unique as any, with all the uncertainty thanks to the (1st?) Year of COVID-19. But somehow the season went through, every game was eventually played no matter the delays, and the cream rose to the top while the crap sank to the bottom. The boys sneak in their thoughts on the two conference title games an hour before Championship Sunday kicks off. First, the old lions decide the NFC in winter conditions as Tom Brady leads Tampa Bay into the frozen tundra to battle Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Divisional Round in 2021 has a distinct QB youth movement in the AFC and a battle of all-time greats in the NFC. Jay and Dre look back on a wild Wild Card Wknd in the NFL before breaking down the upcoming divisional round games. On Saturday, Jared Goff and his collapsible thumb lead the Rams to the fronzen tundra to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Later, two hot shot QBs square off as Lamar Jackson's Ravens pay a visit to Josh Allen's Bills. On Sunday, Baker Mayfield's Miracle Browns draw the World champion Kansas City Chiefs. A buzzworthy finish to the 2020 season sets up the NFL's first Super Wild Card Wknd, with six games instead of the usual four. Jay and Dre try to decipher the decisions of Week 17 before sharing their Pick-6. On Saturday the playoffs begin with the patron saints of early Wild Card games, the AFC East champion Bills, as they host Philip Rivers and the Colts. Then the Rams drag Jared Goff and his busted thumb to Seattle to take on Russell Wilson and the NFC West champion Seahawks. In the nightcap, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers invade DC where Chase Young and the NFC East champs hope to defend Washington better than the Capitol Police. On Sunday the two most destructive ground attacks clash as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens visit Derrick Henry and the AFC South champion Titans. Then Mitch Trubisky and the Bears play the only not-chilly game of the wknd in the Superdome versus Drew Brees and the NFC South champion Saints. Finally, Baker Mayfield and the Browns attempt to rise from under the shadow of their daddies,

Nothing is as aggravating as picking football games in Week 17, what with all the uncertainty surrounding which players are playing and which aren't and which are going to start but then sit after a couple of 1st downs. That's why Jay and Dre started flipping a coin for giggles to see how much better a literal coin flip would do in the NFL's final regular-season action. Now, enter the coronavirus. What was already a maddening exercise becomes that much more difficult, as several teams are battling COVID outbreaks as they try to prepare for the playoffs. The boys and the Coin do their best to find the surest plays for Sunday. There will be a ten-win team in the AFC that will miss the postseason, even with the extra Wild Card slot. Will it be the Colts, Titans, Dolphins, Ravens, or Browns? In the NFC, which squad--the Cards, Bears, or Rams--will fall out of the playoffs? Jay and Dre host their regular football party while the Dolphins play the Raiders, so join the boys for a watch-along while they talk football! They recap Week 15 in the NFL before picking the Week 16 slate. A small Christmas football party is apropos for 2020, so like many people, Jay and Dre will have a short gathering. The boys host a 30-minute special to get you ready for the NFL Saturday tripleheader. First, the Buccaneers try to solidify their playoff position by taking down the Lions in Detroit. If they falter, the Cardinals can immediately take a step up in the NFC if they can beat the 49ers. Now that their undefeated season is up in smoke, the Pittsburgh Steelers are free of the pressure, free to right the ship, free to...get whooped in primetime by the Bills. They're so off, the biggest Steelers megafan called in to the last show...and picked against them correctly! Where does Steeltown go from here? Jay and Dre chat about all of the silliness from Week 14, including another all-time ATS bad beat that they both won, then they look ahead to Week 15. There weren't a lot of "experts" predicting the Washington Potato Skins to knock off the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13, but Jay was front and center, clearly stating that the Football Team would not only cover the spread but win outright. And unlike Dre usually does, Jay didn't predict the last undefeated team to lose several times before nailing it. The guys try to predict all the games in Week 14 after looking back on a busy week in the NFL. Can the Steel Curtain rebound Sunday night in Buffalo? Can the other one-loss squad, the Chiefs, survive a tough road test of their own in Miami?
