In Much Less Detail: The Podcast

Dre and Jay welcome Jerry the wrestling expert back to talk about the WWE premier annual event, this year taking place on March 29 at Levi Stadium.  How does the show shape up after the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw?  Will Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns draw the right kind of heat?  Will Triple H and Sting last longer than their ring entrances? The boys are happy to welcome back Dave the movie expert to break down the field for the Academy Awards. Dre started this year's playoffs with a perfect weekend ATS, so he'll get to gloat at Jay during their 90-minute live megashow.  The boys look back on Wild Card Weekend, then it's time to pick the divisional round matchups.  Saturday, it's the Ravens visiting the Patriots, and last time that happened in the playoffs, New England got routed, and the night game sees the Panthers with their losing record visiting the World champion Seahawks.  Sunday, it's Ice Bowl II as the Cowboys pay a visit to Aaron Rodgers's calf and the rest of the Packers, then Old Peyton vs. New Peyton once again as the Colts travel a mile high to play the Broncos.   Theme music credit:  "I Dunno" by Grapes     grapes / CC BY 3.0

Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Carolina claimed division titles on Sunday, and Baltimore snuck into the playoffs.  Jay and Dre look back on a busy Week 17 and an equally hectic Black Monday, which saw Chicago, the Jets, San Francisco, and Atlanta launch their head coaches.  Then the boys make their picks for Wild Card Weekend!  Saturday, it's Arizona visiting Carolina in what may be the most boring playoff game ever, then the Ravens and the Steelers in Pittsburgh in another installment of a bloody, physical rivalry.  Sunday, it's the unpredicable Cincinnati Bengals in the dome against Andrew Luck's Indianapolis Colts, then Detroit and Dallas clash to determine which double-digit win team can gag it up first.   Theme music credit:  "I Dunno" by Grapes     grapes / CC BY 3.0

Jay and Dre wil try to rally and finish their seasons on a high note, while their annual third party guest picker for Week 17 will try to continue its dominance.  They will examine Atlanta and Carolina doing battle in a de facto playoff game for the NFC South title, as well as the Lions and Packers determining the NFC North champ, Pittsburgh hosting Cincinnati on Sunday night to decide the AFC North winner, and San Diego controlling its playoff shot with a win or starting a trickle-down race for the last spot with a loss.   Theme music credit:  "I Dunno" by Grapes     grapes / CC BY 3.0

New England, Indianapolis, and Denver are division champions, and Arizona is in the playoffs after the events of Week 15.  Jay and Dre discuss those outcomes as well as Dallas avenging Thanksgiving against Philadelphia, Seattle putting down San Francisco, and Cincinnati eviscerating Johnny Football.  Then they pick the final Thursday nighter of this year "featuring" 2-12 juggernauts Tennessee and Jacksonville.   Theme music credit:  "I Dunno" by Grapes     grapes / CC BY 3.0

Only three more weeks of regular season action in the NFL.  Jay and Dre try to identify who's hot and who's cold as they break down all of the Week 15 action, including San Francisco's last gasp at playoff relevancy as they visit the Legion of Boom, New England and Denver trying to clinch the AFC East and West versus Miami and San Diego, respectively, and Dallas and Philadelphia having ostensibly a very early division title match.  In the aftershow, the very first conversation between the boys about the havoc that is Taylor Swift.   Theme music credit:  "I Dunno" by Grapes     grapes / CC BY 3.0
